I don't know if I've shared this on PC before but once, a giant moth flew into my bathroom - I collected my toothbrush and toothpaste, shut the door and put up a sticky note on it that said "MOTH", then went to brush my teeth downstairs that night instead.
The next morning, I see the door is still closed and inferred that no one took care of the moth for me, so I cracked the door open and looked inside - the moth was chilling in the sink, and I quickly grabbed a bowl to cover it, then restickied the "MOTH" note over the bowl. There's two sinks in my bathroom, so I just used the other one. For 3 weeks. And the moth bowl stayed there. For 3 weeks.
Of course the moth is dead at this point, but the thought of picking up the massive dead moth still made my skin crawl, so eventually I just asked my dad to take care of it for me. He said the moth was all dried and shriveled up.
tl;dr I go to great lengths to not touch bugs, luckily no rats or snakes around here
