I'm actually about 40 episodes behind DnA because of school >.< Major! is still my favourite baseball anime, but DnA is rivaling it xD

It's funny that I check in here and you're discussing baseball anime, since I'm watching Little Busters, which, though not quite a baseball anime, does have baseball play a role in the overarching plot of the first season.

Oh man, I think I found out what dovannnj meant when my copies are of the thin side. I think we don't have them covers? Y'know, the one normally used to cover the covers of the book? Yeah, I think that's the one we lack here.

You mean the dust jacket? Those typically only come with hardcovers here in the USA, and most of my manga volumes are softcover/paperback (whichever your preferred term for them is).

I've been wanting to read Ace of the Diamond for a while. I just barely remember to read the series I've already started ugh.

The only sports manga I've ever read is Area no Kishi, but the anime came out and I started watching that instead (and I still haven't finished it xD)

I actually started Little Busters thinking it was just another sports baseball anime xD I couldn't keep up with it though because I was watching too many things at that time.

Well... baseball doesn't really play a very important role there, though =D

Whistle! is literally the only soccer anime I actually gave time to care about, lol.

...I don't know, I'm not a fan of Sports anime. I'm sorry.

Is this thread getting the double-posting curse?

I still can't get over last weekend's download speed while I was back at home. I haven't mention it here yet, but it was insane. At an average of 600kB/s and reaching up 'til 1MB/s, I got like a full 22-episode series as well as about 12 episodes from this season's anime downloaded in only 5-6 hours for all of them.

And that was done while youtubing for anime reviews haha.

And now I need to clean up my hard drive.

People still use the ugly Quick Reply :/

Japan is all about that baseball and soccer. But more baseball than soccer >w>
I would say they only care about soccer if their male/female national team achieves something big, though =D

I've been double posting all over the place, not just here;(

Quick reply isn't always an issue, I always use quick reply aha.

A country doesn't have to be good at a sport to enjoy it lmao. Their soccer team sucks, anyone who watched the World Cup could see that -w-

So much sports anime talk..

Kuroko no Basuke is one of my favorite series, I own the entirety of Oofuri, and I'm watching A Knight in the Area, Haikyuu, and Ace of Diamonds. .w.

I'm pretty behind on Haikyuu, but everyoneeeee that I know is obsessed, so I'm trying to catch up.

For the most part I can't stand sports anime. If sports is a sub thing and not the main deal of the anime it's all fine and dandy. But I can't deal with an entire anime based around sports.

I watched all of the prince of tennis anime, I think I've met my mandatory sports anime watch time. I keep seeing wrestling and boxing anime in people's top lists, I just couldn't see myself watching it.

I'm not the biggest sports anime fan, I loved Kuroko, but I dropped it nooo.

What I can't stand if anime that's 100% serious, there has to be at least some comic relief x_x

Inazuma Eleven is still far my favourite sports anime series, but Free!, Yowamushi Pedal and Whistle! are pretty high up on the list.

Haikyuu!!, Kuroko, Oofuri and DnA are all awesome too, but I don't like them as much as the other ones I guess.
