Wishes everyone a happy Obon Festival. Looked it up, being unfamiliar with it. Exists as a day to honor the dead in Japan. Sets out offerings on the graves or family altar. Hangs paper lanterns around the home to guide spirits also. (May walk from graves to the home with these lanterns too.)

I think this mon counts as a regional evolution. Serebii doesn't list it as one, Bulba does however.

Those just evolve from a normal Stantler, Ursaring and Scyther though. I think they are just normal evolutions that got added later, like say Magmortar or Slowking.
Basculegion on the other hand evolves from a new form for Basculin.

Anyway that aside, before I copy it into my stats, the end count seems light to me? Regional = 200 posts, - 10 post for obon.. = 190 posts.
That end count is only 160. Unless there's another discount going on I'm unaware of.

Evolves Alolan Marowak from a normal Cubone, Alolan Raichu from a standard Pikachu, and Alolan Exeggutor from an ordinary Exeggcute too. Counts those as regionals. Edit: Looking for precedence.

True, there are a bunch of mons who have a normal base form, who evolve into a regional form. All of those are already existing Pokemon though.
The newer regional evolutions have rather muddled the waters lol
From what I can tell for them to count as a regional evolution, they need to evolve from a regional form.

Idk what criteria bulbapedia and Serebii use exactly, but Wyrdeer, Ursaluna and Kleavor are not listed as a regional evolution on either.
And then sometimes they don't list the same things, like how Bulba does list White striped Basculin and Basculegion, whereas serebii does not.

I mainly make these sort of remarks for clarity, though I imagine it comes across quite nit-picky =P
