Absolutely agree with you; feel the same about Russia beating England to the 2018 vote too.
 
I personally like that the olympics are being more diverse with their host countries.
 
My best friend is in her thirties, and I'm actually getting pretty close myself. It's funny how I feel way younger than my actual age though. I forget that I'm 27 (going on 28 in October) literally all of the time. I bet I'm going to feel old when I finally reach the big three zero. ;~;

Also, I never pay much attention to the olympics. Sports make my brain hurt. XD

I'll be 24 um... next Saturday. Likely may not even get a gift until well after the birthday happens, since it's been that way the last few years.
 
I just get a cake and some money from my dad, that's all I need tho, nothing too special.
 
I don't really want anything for Christmas either, I can buy Sun and Moon myself.
 
I haven't gotten any gifts for Christmas or my birthday in the past maybe two years. Which is very unusual, but I'm not mad in the slightest. There isn't much I want besides a car :x
 
Age topic: I'm going to be 20, and it just feels so...surreal. Where did time go? I was ten yesterday.

Re: birthdays: I think I just want a new computer for my bday, and i like being spoiled on the holidays, so? I mean... I just spoiled a friend from out of state by sending them a little gift, so. Yes. Also, being born on the day after Christmas is bad, and I would know, that's my birthday. No, I don't get double presents. But at least I had off school my whole life on my birthday, and now work, too. I get a day like that only once a year. Feels amazing in this regard.

Re: Sun/Moon. Gonna try and get them the week of, if I don't waste all my money before then. I'm a bad saver. =/
 
My entire family bloodline is Jewish on both sides, so, I never experienced that. Hanukkah is never on the same days of the year, in fact. One time, it was at the end of November. @_@

...This year, it starts kinda late, iirc. Hannukah just so happens to start on Christmas day. Weird.
 
My birthday is in February, I never had it celebrated with Christmas tho
 
Having my birthday at the beginning of October is something my mother has issues remembering because she always forgets easily about the first day of a new month.
 
My birthday is smack dab in the middle of the year and its a national holiday too. Canada Day or July 1st. :D The only problem with that though is I live in the States...lol.
