I'd actually be in awe if I saw a bear eating baby giraffes, not going to lie. I dunno, something about wild hunting captivates me.

Sounds like me, but it's more like.. my memory is fine, it just only takes 15 seconds to distract me for three hours. Then I'm not distracted by the thing anymore, and I go "Oh, I need to go do the dishes".

That's me in a nutshell. If I'm in the middle of something, but find another thing to do, I'll do the other thing for much longer and forget what I was doing originally.
