Once in a Blue Moon | Epilogue

I can't die and I will punish anyone who votes for me, just fyi. Try it. ;)

I don't think even that is something worse going off of. I talked about it before simply because the odd behavior is something, and I feel like it's involved with the secret mafia-sided role. Regardless if I'm wrong on this theory or not - I really don't think Superjolt would be the bad guy here. Unless they're trying reverse psychology, in which case he is. :P

Here's what I think. Since I'm clearly the only person proven innocent and probably should be leading the charge.

We lynch CapsFan. If he's innocent, Superjolt dies tomorrow. If he's a rebel, Doctor protects Superjolt. Deal? Sorry Caps.

At this point all we have is Superjolt and his rapid voting (read: odd behavior) to go off of for a potential lynch. Otherwise it really would be a completely random vote. :/
I really don't see how it was that odd, but ok. You all chose to be conservative with your votes, I chose not to be. People can continue thinking it was useless, but not only did I get a reaction from CapsFan, I got reactions from seven others, so it certainly wasn't useless.

Like if you want to lynch me, then give a better reason than "lol da random vote was weird"

Not sure I understand this? My vote was a random vote - there would be a higher chance of my random vote landing on a townie - and you want to just assume I'm scum if CapsFan were town?

D1 is not the time to be making a random vote like that,
People do RNG votes all the time on D1, so what is the big deal? You keep saying it's strange, but how is it different from anyone else making an RNG vote? Because I did it right away? Why should that make a difference? You haven't explained this
and you did it instantly with no real justification. That's plenty of reason to be suspicious of you.
RNG votes generally come without any justification, they wouldn't be RNG votes if they weren't...

It's the hastiness of the vote and your defensive behavior that strikes everyone as odd, including myself.
But why is this so strange? All I'm asking is for someone to explain what makes this so strange. Also, I didn't think I was being that defensive tbh, I mean I could be over-the-top-super defensive if I really wanted to be.

You guys can follow Klippy's plan if you want, but the plan is flawed - Klippy ignores the possibility of me being town even if CapsFan flips town. By his logic, I'm scum no matter what if CapsFan flips town. It's not the worst possible plan I guess, but it's still flawed.

You're being sarcastic... right? If you're being serious, then I am astounded. Your last two posts your 'logic' feels way off. :/ When there is no information on day 1, you either abstain (there is no option to in this case) or random vote. Chances are something particularly noteworthy comes up on day 1 is pretty slim. Sometimes someone outs themselves if they found something to incriminate another. Sometimes a suspicious bandwagon happens out of nowhere, likely fueled by mafia and can be read into.

No bandwagon is here other than the one that a confirmed inno, Klippy, has made to rally the town to a decision. In my honest opinion, Klippy's plan does seem a bit flawed for what I think is going on here. But it's day 1, and if it doesn't go well, then hopefully it won't be much of a loss. We'll see what happens with the lynch though. Hopefully the mafia messed up and we're going to nab one of them here. :)

edit: Got ninja'd be superjolt, lol. So what's "strange" about what you did is simply the hastiness of it. Usually if you random vote, you just wait until the end of the day, and vote for someone with no other votes on them. You don't start something in the beginning of the day where there is less posts of others' to read into. I suppose it was your poor timing, more than anything.

Ulli all I'm trying to say was that I found the speed that Superjolt voted at jarring. That's all.

Edit: Basically what your "edit" said.

Your words betray you. I'm obviously going with Klippy's plan for today. But what you've been saying here has made me so damn suspicious of you. If it wasn't for his plan, I would have put my vote to you. :P

I think trying to bring people into situations where they have to defend themselves, regardless of actual alignment, is part of Superjolt's playstyle.

Anyway, obey the Queen.

See, for me, there's nothing strange about what I did, because on other boards where I've played mafia, the game generally starts with an "RVS stage" (RVS = random voting stage). It's a stage at the beginning where everyone makes random votes for silly reasons, people would usually look for reactions or wait until someone did something that looked suspicious (and RVS would just last a page or two). Despite playing a good number of games here in the UG, I'm still not used to games not having RVS at the beginning, and I'm actually a little surprised that RVS is not a thing here in the UG (though it probably has something to do with the silly "you only get one vote per day that you can't change ever" rule that some GMs use, but eh, I'm getting a little off topic here). This is why CapsFan (and I think Kiyo too) understood what I was doing, because I think they're familiar with the concept of RVS. So yeah, it's probably strange to you guys, but for me it's definitely not :P

Hopefully this helps you see where I'm coming from here.

I am also of the opinion that "there's nothing to go on during D1" is not true
I think trying to bring people into situations where they have to defend themselves, regardless of actual alignment, is part of Superjolt's playstyle.
Well, it definitely is one way to get reads on people at least (though it's not the only way)

No idea what's going on right now but it looks like I'm getting lynched. Time to reveal.

I'm just a normal citizen. I used to be wealthy (tried to kinda soft at this earlier in the day) but I lost my wealth when i bought the Mysterious Brew a couple of hours ago. If you want to know what it does...it correctly reveals the true identity of any dead player.

That's all there is. You're wasting your time with this whole ordeal. Lynching me won't prove Superjolt guilty.

If you want some reads for when I flip town, here they are:

- Ullion looks kinda weird...actually on second look he's probably town.
- Lostelle's logic is REALLY flawed
- Superjolt actually knows what he's doing, and what he's saying actually makes sense. Rapid joke voting is the way I play everywhere else but here, but since you guys have like some sort of fear of it, I don't do it here. I learned my lesson in Klippy's Beginner's Mafia. Apparently Superjolt hasn't learned his yet, but Klippy's plan is completely flawed. Superjolt's town.
- I never know how to read Johnny or Bac, so they could be anything.
- EDIT: If I had to give any other gut scumreads, it would probably be Gunner but he always looks scummy to me. So IDK.

[VOTE]: Lostelle and I encourage anyone with decent knowledge of how to play this game to do the same.
