So, are you a coffee drinker?

Gotta have that Starbucks fix? Energy drinks more your style? Tea?

How do you get your daily dosage of caffeine to get through your day - or do you just abstain from such things?

I despise coffee except once in a blue moon when I happen to stumble upon a brew that warms my very soul and makes me feel alive. If someone can point me in the direction of a blend that is consistently amazing, please, show me.

When I do enjoy coffee, I prefer to have it black as a winter's night. No sugar, no creamer, no nothing.

I prefer tea. When it comes to caffeine, it doesn't matter because it has no effect on me anyway.

Coffee for meeeeee. Black with little sugar. I have an ecspresso machine, but I rarely have the capsules for it because the stores here suck. Drinking fresh tea in the morning makes me nauseated.

it's 10:41 pm in Houston and i am drinking coffee right now.

    caffinated, starbucks french roast.

and I have a 7 am shift tomorrow morning.

    I need help.

BUT ANYWAYS. I do love my coffee and I drink it in jugs instead of cups. My bf makes coffee every morning when I'm at his place, and it's the Hawaiian kind (forgot the actual name of it but it has a hint of coconut <3). I get cranky without my coffee, so it is an absolute must in my system.

I do not like coffee. I do not understand it. Recently I have gotten more used to coffee flavouring in chocolate, but I still avoid it when possible.

Real coffee. Ground beans with a little hot water passed through under pressure and nothing else (unless it's work's machine coffee in which case +1 sugar). I probably drink way too much of this.

I also drink a lot of tea too but since moving here, it's been 80% coffee. The coffee here's so good that you're doing something wrong if you aren't drinking it all the time to the point of addiction, haha.

Energy drinks are nice, but if it's cold out and early in the morning I'll have a coffee or two. Pumpkin spice from starbucks is nice, but I also like making a pot of coffee at home and putting in some peppermint creamer around christmas time. sweet tea is also nice every now and then, but I'm not a fan of hot tea.

    I'm not much of a coffee person. I usually drink it on occasion with lots of sugar and milk though. If it's Starbucks, I just leave it alone and drink it the way it's made. I don't like to have a lot of caffeine in my system because of my ADHD. It'll keep me up an entire night, and I end up getting horrible anxiety for not sleeping the next morning. ;o;

If I somehow ingest caffeine my everything just shifts into maximum overdrive and I won't sleep for the next three days ish
Same applies to energy drinks or black tea or anything related

...Speaking of caffeine, this thread just reminded me that I actually have a cherry pepsi sitting right by me, one that I forgot about even though I grabbed it only like fifteen minutes ago oops. The ice in my cup is already melting ahhhhh.

But yeah. Among other types of caffeinated drinks .... okay, yeah, I grabbed that pepsi to try to perk me up slightly right now. That's about the best I can usually hope for from caffeine, just a little boost. Can't rely on it for much else. Although when it comes to choices like coffee or tea .... tea all the way. I could probably drink tea all day if I felt like making it all day. I can't stand the bitterness of coffee in more than tiny amounts.

(Which means, yeah, the only times I've enjoyed "coffee" is when it's also laden with large amount of sugar and syrups. Not something I'm going to have often.)

I picked up the habit of drinking coffee, and I have a cup every morning while at work. I'm looking to break the habit, though it's one of the few things that keeps me upright in the early morning.

and it's the Hawaiian kind (forgot the actual name of it but it has a hint of coconut <3)
Is it the Kauai brand? I've seen that around my workplace, and it's the only Hawaiian-branded coffee with a coconut flavor.

I'm a huge fan of coffee now (hence the creation of this thread), and I'm pretty sure addiction isn't an adequate enough word to describe my desire for it. I need a mug every, single morning or I become pretty irritable, honestly. When I'm at home relaxing I tend to put a little sugar and milk in my coffee, but when I really just need the kick I've been known to drink it black.

As for Starbucks... I'm a gold card member. ]: I should really just buy stock in the company so that I'm just reinvesting my money.

But unfortunately I don't drink tea. I wish I liked it, but I can just never find a brew that I like.

Coffee here! I think I am getting addicted because it takes 2 cups to wake me up lol, I enjoy it with flavoured cream.

Both tea and coffee = life. I love them! I wouldn't ever be able to choose a favorite between the two, though I drink tea (especially green tea with ginseng + honey) more often because it's more readily available in the house; we usually only drink coffee when we go to Starbucks, since our coffee maker disappeared. I actually prefer iced coffee, but I do still love a warm one every blue moon; I drink mine with some cream and sweetener since I can't stand mine black or bitter.

As someone who has never been a fan of coffee, I get my daily dose of caffeine through other sources. Typically I will drink a glass of tea in the mornings but on occasion I will drink some Dr. Pepper or Pepsi. I get headaches really badly if I don't at least have a little throughout the day.

I work as a barista, yet I don't drink coffee. Instead, I give everyone else their daily fix. I normally have a cup of chocolate chai in the morning, and if I need more, I'll have one more cup.

But some of the people that order coffee from me are crazy. I have someone who likes to order multiple quad shot americanos throughout the day, and I don't understand how someone could need that much caffeine. At least we're not Starbucks, so we aren't charging him an arm and a leg, but still.
