I wish I was good at CSS :( I should make an effort to learn it properly because it's really easy from what I've seen.

Castform do you literally live in Treehouse Chat?

^ well duh, he's the mod here :P

I can't wait to learn programming when the time comes for me to continue onward in my schooling. :3

So anyways, how's everyone's weekend so far?

My weekend has been surprisingly good! Was a stressful week but today has been really relaxing and fun. Going out tomorrow with my mom for lunch and doing a little shopping. Should be fun!

I thought you were already an experienced programmer? :o

Oh, and my weekend wasn't too eventful, though I am going grocery shopping Sunday, going to my college Monday for some stuff (and going to go clothes shopping later on!! Excited), as well as going to this Ripley's Believe it or not event Tuesday.

I was once a huge fan of the Ripley's Believe it or Not books when I was really little, so I can't wait to visit the museum. ^_^

Omg I love the museum! Take me with you aa ;o;

You sure about that? Florida is kind of a crappy state with bad drivers and weird weather.

Though I suppose we do have theme parks and attractions going for us, so it's hard to be bored.

Yes you guys have BEACHES. enough for me! It's my dream to live on a beach/island c:

I live roughly 45 minutes from the nearest beach, so I can't really comment on whether or not beaches have been enjoyable for me in recent years. :(

...I should really make it a point to go someday.

You really should. I live around an hour from the closest beach, maybe a bit more. I always enjoy going and just relaxing in the sun before taking a dip into the ocean

I'm just scared to go near the water, to be completely honest. ;__;

i get this way about large n deep bodies of water. :);;;

the ocean could dry up and i would be so fine with that lmao

I still think you might be saying that to divert attention from yourself.

Also, Castform might live in the DCC, but what about the creature that lives inside Castform????

plot twist: every regular of BS has a piece of Cthulhu's soul and they're just trying to blame each other to throw us off.

rip Omicron, I knew you well. I know you've fallen victim to lala, but I will free you from his very tentacles which grasp your soul :(

somehow

What if you and lala are both the Cthulhu :O

Everything you guys start with the Lovecraft, all I can think about is that South Park episode.

I'm going to be quite frank here and say the thing here with cthulu is really hard for me to follow let alone reply to

@flight If you're going to take C++ as an advanced course, C is a logical choice to begin with. Also, since it doesn't come with a rich library you won't be doing as much brain-hurting stuff, I don't think. C++ is an object-oriented language built on top of C, so they're the most similar.

Also, when I was first learning programming I didn't have a clear concept of how programs function at all until I learned C and found out what assembly was. So there's that too.

I'm a bit hungry right now, as well. I wonder if my mother will take me out to eat.

Well, if you can look over like 50% of the documentation being a description of things that can cause undefined behavior, C might be interesting for some people, especially when developing software for Linux or other *nix systems. Never was a fan of C, though. Especially when you can have stuff like C++ or Objective-C that are basically C but with more/better features (although I haven't really bothered with Objective-C, tbh.).
