Jess, you might just have a high metabolism. A blessing and a curse, depending on how you look at it. . .
Oh, cool. Did you know that the three main actors/actress pretty much just adlibbed their entire dialog?

Oh jeez, I try to bulk up, but most of the time it just ends in 'But It Failed'.
I mean, I get stronger, yes, but I swear, some days I just think somebody gave me an Everstone and I still have realised. . .

Edit:
Eh, I should really get offline now. I'm procrastinating. . . Again. . . .

Well, it certainly makes it easier to buy food from Chinese food trucks that give massive servings for ~$5. If I could, I would.

I can. :}
The joys of a high metabolism. . . Buffets always give you more bang for yo buck.

I was a small kid. I think I weighed 90 pounds at the beginning of high school. I've grown a lot, but I'm still pretty skinny. I don't eat all that much, so I guess that contributes to it. Today, I was sitting on the couch and my stomach was growling. I didn't get up to eat until an hour later because I just didn't feel like eating.

I also have a high metabolism rate. The last time I weighed myself, I was around 45-50 kg. That was almost the exact same weight I had since forever. And by forever I estimate about 5 years ago. With my height of 167 cm/5'5, that makes me underweight. But I guess being underweight is better than being overweight. Less problems to handle.

I try not to eat at night too, but sometimes I just...can't...help it. I've read before that eating bananas at night are alright though, so if I really have to eat, I try to stick to bananas.

A high metabolism is a blessing and a curse. I will always be in shape, given my routine, what I eat, and my metabolism. But my body literally burns through everything I consume, food, alcohol, medicine, whatever, so fast that it's like nothing ever happened. Sometimes I eat ridiculous amounts of calories, double or even triple the daily allowance, and drink my protein shakes, and barely notice any sort of mass gain - if I do, it's very gradual. I will forever be 6'0, 150ish.

Do you lift? <3

I eat as much as I have to every day, even if it ends up eating late at night. I don't like being hungry in the morning - and I go to the gym tomorrow!

What's your workout like?

I mostly do cardiovascular exercises, and also work on my abdominals from time to time. I do lift, but not very often though. xD I lift weights only when I'm weak and feel that I should strengthen myself up a little. Other than that, there's not much point in me lifting. I've recently heard that women don't have enough testosterone as men do, so they will most likely never be able to gain enough muscles as men, even if they do a lot of weight lifting.

I should really start lifting as opposed to being lazy like I am. My health would totally benefit.

I always believe that having a healthy body is enough, having a muscular body might look nice to some, but to me, it looks absolutely disgusting. And when you're old, you would probably have a hard time getting rid of those meat and have knee problems. This is because I don't expect people to lift all the way until lets say, they are 80?

Correct me if I am wrong.

Meanwhile... I am 5'10-5'11 (178cm) and around 100 pounds (or 45kg). That's pretty thin right? I eat a lot though. That extremely high metabolism rate of mine.

I eat a LOT and I only weigh around 150 and I am 6'1. A little bit undersized for my age, so I'd like to gain around 20 pounds.

I feel lazy when exercising at home sometimes, so I always need some sort of music in the background to keep myself going. I don't feel too lazy when I'm when I'm at the gym, though. Seeing others do their workouts motivate me to exercise as hard as they are. xD The toughest task for me would have to be getting to the gym. Sometimes, I don't feel like going to the gym at all since it's a bit far from where I live. It takes about twenty minutes to get there if you're on a car, and it could take even longer if you're on the bus or train. ):

I weigh somewhere around ninety-five pounds. I'm kind of a short person, so that weight fits me just perfectly.

I really don't like gyms. I just don't like the environment and I feel like I'm constantly being judged. I prefer going out and doing my own thing. I'll keep in shape without the gym. I don't have a lot of muscle mass, so I don't really see the point in lifting weights if I'm not going to be able to lift that much.

Gyms aren't bad at all.. when my brother took me to his gym a few times this past summer (three freebies), I enjoyed it. Everyone was minding their business and the staff was very encouraging and friendly as well, and I felt like I got more work done there than I would at home in terms of working out. I just wish I was able to afford a permanent membership there, though :(

I guess I'm too nerdy to hang out with all the cool jocks. :P

Since I never go to the gym, I'm kind of clueless on how to do things. I guess it's because of that "I have no idea what I'm doing" feeling that really makes me not want to be there. I've even taken weight training at my old high school, so I know my way around all the equipment and the basic etiquette. I just feel so stupid when I'm on various machines and I don't really have a clue on what muscles I'm supposed to be working on, or for how long.

My experience has been the same really, everybody's been very encouraging and helpful. Okay, maybe not the weightlifters and athletes that are there for srs bsns and to whom everybody else is a distraction XD There are a lot of women, well not relative to men but relative to what you might expect, where I go. There's quite the decent amount of cardio going on, but also tank amounts of squats too :O Actually, they do pretty much everything guys do. It's inspiring for me to try and improve every time.
