Section Title: Help Wanted
Section Focus: Talking about academics and helping out or seek help on homeworks, exams, and projects.
Description & Reasoning: Well, we all discuss about academics at some point in our lives and everybody has work to do in high school and college. This section would be dedicated to helping other people with homeworks, exams, and projects in pretty much any subject. Conversely you could ask for help when you need it.
 
Couldn't the contest be ended now? Not many have entered so I don't think many more will enter.
 
There's still time for people that haven't entered yet, it's going to end this Friday so I don't see a point in ending it now. :P

Section Title: Paws 'N Claws: The Pet Corner
Section Focus: The section would focus on pets, but also on animal interactions in general.
Description & Reasoning: This would be a place to talk about the animals in our lives who give us comfort, companionship, or perhaps just a decoration for the sitting room. Members are free to discuss anything pet related, such as posting pictures, sharing stories about pets both past and present, ask and answer questions about animal care and more. This could also be a place to talk about experiences working with animals in general, such as in zoos, farms, or even encounters in the wild.

Competition Corner!​

That makes Suicune™ the winner of this competition and a PM has been sent asking where the donation should go. There were many great entries and I'd love to see half of them put into action, but there can only be one winner. Emblems will be awarded as soon as they've been uploaded by our admins so for now stay tuned for the next competition. Congrats again!
 
Congrats Suicune! Everyone had really good entries in this one and as Synerjee already stated, this was very fun and I can't wait to participate in the next one.

The VIP Challenge
(Week 2)

Do you want to be a VIP? Do you have the guts to go head-to-head with PC's most dedicated userbase? Do you look good in a swimsuit?

If the answer to any of these questions was 'yes' then you're in the right place - it's time for The VIP Challenge! Every few weeks we'll be throwing another challenge at you for you all to compete in and we'll start to find out who really are the VIPs of PC. The challenges will cover topics new and old, test skills you never knew you had, and will hopefully provide a bit of bonding too, so play some games with your fellow members and the prizes may be in your grasp.

A real VIP goes about life with style.
1. Follow all of PC's rules.
2. Don't spam, troll or harass.
3. Don't make fun of people for their entries; this is all for fun!
4. No submissions will be used for making decisions for PC.

We've got a new section for PC and all's going well, but we still haven't got that push we need. Perhaps it's time to focus on a new strategy - we need to bring in members from outside of PC and get them to sign-up. How do we do that? We advertise of course! You're being considered for the new position of PC's Advertising Officer and you need to show off your skills with the one chance you're being given now.

What'll you fill it with?​

How you choose to advertise the forum is entirely up to you. You can create a poster, write a magazine article, draft a blog entry, create a website banner, or anything else you can think of that'll draw in new members; let your creativity run wild. There's no limit on what can and can't be submitted for this competition but bear in mind that a short and snappy ad is usually the best way to draw someone's attention. Or perhaps you'd like to produce an in-depth article on PC for those members who really like to consider their options before joining a forum? Whatever you choose it's down to you, but you'll have to be creative to impress us.

This is my entry. It's an image that tells newcomers to join PC. It's almost like a banner, but it's quite big to be a banner.. It's still my entry regardless. I think you will gag! It's probably the best thing I made, sadly. It's simple.​

Just a quick note, any links/images with the word 'advert' in the URL (also had problems with 'youradhere') don't seem to show (like Zach's was above), so you'll want to upload them to imgur or something first or use a different address for them. :)
