  • With three story lines to write at once I'm starting to regret using some deus ex machina to kill of story C. But whatever... this should be fun too. It's really strange to see an empty inventory and Pokémon list at this point though. :P

I feel guilty for not having read the previous two chapters yet, but I just wanted to drop by and say I'm quite surprised that you haven't brutally murdered us yet in either of the April Fools' chapters. xDDD

I tried at some point. Remember almost drowning berry juice? Then there were shrooms and stuff and it didn't happen.

I'm actually kinda terrible at being evil.

  • I might as well vote since I just discovered a 2-month-old notification from this thread on this account. (Seriously Lycan, you just had to quote my alt. xD)

    D. Talonflame! ;3
    K. For some reason, I think we should probably die as fast as possible in that mistake of a timeline I created. :P
    H. I'm all for being less boring! xD

The librarian (the Noctowl that is, not user Meadow) looks like a real know-all.

    WELL HMM...

    Spoiler:

  • IT'S BEEN 84 YEARS!

Should I hijack my April Fools' story route again? xD If I do that, three things will be accomplished:

    1. You'll have a bit less of a workload! :D
    2. We'll actually get to die in this story for the first time! :D :D :D
    3. Oh yeah, and the parallel timelines will be a little less complicated! :D

    Thoughts? :P

Good news! When cleaning up my desk I found a bunch of old notes I had written for this. Now only this writer's block...

    Meanwhile, sure, go ahead! :D

  • Hey guys, welcome to the [insert-some-huge-number-here]-est revival of Choice Quest. Yeah, I can't let this thing go, it's kind of sad.
Nevertheless, yay, we're back! But for how long? Before you're starting to wonder what the heck happened in the pas tof this story... don't worry, I have barely an idea either. For that reason (and the fact stuff was terribly confusing anyways), I have decided to kill of the two alternate story lines. Feel free to read back on those for a bit of context.
As for the main story, the "you" charater was kidnapped by the bad guys, Team Zeta, but luckily your Pokémonhave infiltrated their headquarters and are here to rescue you! Or they would have, if it weren't for the fact they got distracted by an ice cream dispenser and found a secret room beneath it. In this hidden library our friends meet a Noctowl and Monty Python references happen and stuff.

Okay, enough talk, let's get on with this! :D

"Uhm... what Scrambles meant to say was a Swellow from Hoenn of course." Puddles quickly interrupted.

"Very well. I shall look it up in the Holy Device of Know-All." Noctowl said and grabbed a PokéDex from one of the shelves behind him. "Well, hit me with a Bonemarang! It looks like our glorious leader hasn't met a Swellow yet. Want to look up another Pokémon instead?"

They're coming to deliver the order in three hours. So what's the plan?
Q: Switch off the security system and doorbell and wait for them outside. 5 votes
X: Blow up the HQ. 4 votes
Z: Maybe actually look for your trainer sometime. 2 votes Wow you guys are so nice. :P
K: Do nothing, the bike is the perfect method of distraction. 2 votes

59B. Bikes come in all colors

    Location: Team Zeta Headquarters

It doesn't take long for the package to arrive. But as you assemble the bicycle (it's an Ikea-kind bike), something seems odd. To be more precise, the bike doesn't look like a bike in any way. When Puddles presses the lever ("Oh, that wasn't one of the treadles?"), the "bike" starts to emit smoke and explodes barely a moment later.

Ten minutes later a second mailman arrives, wondering what in the name of Arceus happened here for a few seconds, then decides not to mind any more as he's paid by the delivery anyway. He drops the ordered bicycle and leaves.

...no more was heard from your brave rescue squad.
    End of this story line.

H: Let's look for a way to get further away (= obvs less boring) fast. 4 votes

    59C. Going there again?

    Location: Bluestream Forest

As you casually walk into the forest, you see a wild Venonat ready to become the victim of your amazing bug catching net. The huge amount of déjà vû opens a rift in the forest floo, sucking everything into the blackness. Looks like the universe wants to save me from writing the exact same story twice. Bless the legendary Pokémon!

    Oh yes, also RIP.
    End of this story line.
