Pokémon Emerald 650

I don't suppose you could upload your save file (for testing purposes), could you? It'd be easier for replacing items, pokemon without having to add/catch them one-by-one.
I believe someone already mentioned it but the patch seems to use a different rom to the standard ones, ignored the error and it seems to work fine, just wondering what the case is here.

Great hack/Base by the way, it'll definitely come in handy!
 
Just a small update as to what's going on with my secondary patch. Thanks to some gift Pokemon scripts by PurpleOrange, about 95% of the Pokemon are catchable. All that's left are legendary events, and then a release :)

Okay, sry for asking for a pre-patched rom as I can't possibly get the patch to work(am I a bad person now?). But can anyone help me with fixing the patch then? I get the following error: The patch doesn't match the file. Patching canceled. If someone knows how to fix this pls help me, I really want to use this as a base for my hack since it is so awesome :D

You're not a bad person, you should just review the rules before posting. Anyway, have you tried setting to "Ignore" before patching?
 
Thx so much! It worked! Tried it sometime with another patch and that destroyed everything so didnt think about trying this with this patch. Your my hero at the moment! :D
 
How do you edit the trainers pokemon so that they get one of the added pokemom?(4th gen, 5th gen and sylveon). I linked my advance trainer to the PGE of the download, but the added pokemon dont show there...
Edit:Nvm got it working with unnamed trainer editor.

In emerald, at the offset 0x611C9A, there's a table with 10 entries of 2 bytes (shorts), followed by an FFFF at the end of the table, which marks the pokemon restricted for entry in Battle Tower. To add or remove entries, add the pokemon number reversed in hex, and end the table with FFFF. If you want to remove all the limitations, just write FFFF to the beginning of the table (offset 611C9A).

If I or anybody expanded the table and repointed into a new free space, does it have limiters should be changed? Sorry that I can't try it since I don't have any personal computer anymore.

nope, there are no limiters at all (odly), however the three pointers to the table are used for different parts, see HERE
 
I can open the patched rom with G3HS, but then I can't see any Pokemon past Chimecho. I'm not sure what is going on...

Also, a bug report! Kindler Andy in the Fallarbor Gym has been replaced with Bug Maniac Jeffrey, with five Lv. 38 Pokemon, 2 x Surskit, Dustox, Beautifly and Masquerain. That is very odd.

Have you made any progress? Sorry if I sound impatient, but I'm looking forward to playing a Nuzlocke of this; once again, thank you for taking the time and making the patch for all the lazy people~
 
Nice work man! One question, did you make all the cries yourself? Or how did you get them?
 
I feel like I should make an update for Pokémon Theta Emerald. I decided to give it a name rather than Pokémon Emerald 650 since 650 is a resource, while Theta Emerald is the playable game. So far, everything is going pretty well. Besides decapping more words and fixing other little things, it's going very smoothly. But, the project is in hold though since the guy I sent it to, who is currently doing Trainers and Legendary Pokémon events, is still working on that. Once he sends me the completed ROM, I'll do some last minute touch-ups (i.e. Title Screen edit, intro edit, NPC stuff, *cough* Let's Play *cough*), and then release the patch in the Sideshow Thread, since it doesn't change the main storyline, just...everything else :P So, if you can all just wait a little bit longer, that would help us out. Remember, we're trying to fit 650 Pokémon into a game that is supposed to have only 386, so it is very difficult to do, so I would appreciate it if everyone to just wait for a little bit longer. Thank you :)
