FireRed hack: Pokémon Genesis

I plan on playing Beta 3.2 today. Also I noticed trainers' names aren't decapitalized yet, are you gonna do that for the next beta? This is an interesting ROM Hack, keep up the good work!

Probably in the future. I wanted to keep Pokemon and People names capitalized to make them stand out but because Rival and Player allows for lowercase letters its inconsistent so I'll get round to changing them at some stage.
 
Hey, Ive been playing your hack, and so far its great, but Ive just reached Temshore and whenever I go to fight my rival the game just turns black instead of starting the battle. Is there any fix for this or am I missing something? Sorry if this is asked a lot.

Are you playing Beta 3.2? I've included a workaround in that version.

I'm playing 3.2 and it also happens to me.

Edit: I looked around and found the alternate, I'll see if it works...

Edit 2: The alternate hold for 45 seconds didn't work for me (I held for 2 minutes). And I don't know how to remove the script with Advance Map. Oh well, guess I'll have to pass on this hack. It was kind of fun for the short time I played.

Yes, im playing 3.2. I tried holding the spacebar for about 5 minutes, but nothing happened. Im not sure how to remove the event. Maybe it should just be taken out until it can be fixed?
 
Are you sure you're patching beta 3.2 to a clean FR Rom and not over the rom you've already patched? I've tried it and works fine for me...
 
Beta 3.2 is amazing so far!:)
But how do I get cut?
I can't proceed into Mt. Perin without it, and I've looked Everywhere.

This just happened to me too.:(
I had to go to A-map and remove the event to continue...
 
I don't know how nobody else seems to be having this problem, but every other time I press Start the game freezes. Is this some anti-piracy measure? Because I play all hacks on my DS with an AceKard2 + MicroSD + EZFlash 3in1. I really don't get how you people enjoy playing hacks on a computer...

You open A-map, Find the Temshore city map(Which is Cerulean city), Drag the green script tile somewhere out of reach, then save.
 
Woah, Genesis is back.
I remember this from when I was a lurker o3o
I found a few tile errors (it's basically the same problem though) on one of your screenshots.

Instead of using the normal tile for the ends you have to use..

You DON'T have to remove the event.
Press the spacebar, (It speed things up) and
wait about a few seconds. The battle should load.

Oh, and Thrace, would you mind changing the Trainer Texts from the Sea Routes?
(Many of them aren't edited as of yet.)
It can be quite boring seeing the FR Text over and over again.
