Hey, GoGo, can you make 3D effects? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

It's possible to create a pseudo-3D effect through shading.

See the following examples:
The following image shows a Play Station 1 game called Tekken 3.

This one is a GBA game, the characters and background actually aren't 3D.

While it is possible to channel a fake 3D effect, in my opinion it isn't necessary, it can be a waste of time. But hey, GoGo has the final decision over that, haha.

Interesting seed:

Aside from the awesomeness of randomization, I've coded the even/odd fossils
(If you don't know what those are, they are fossils you find based on your trainer ID being even or odd)

Edit: 2,350 posts.. yay? :o

Finally, I've found something other than spheres:

So now there's proof that I've added other stuff xD

I'm not sure if I'm missing something or what, but when I try to find "Pokemon Platinum Blue" on the site, there are only downloads for Red. So... where is Blue? Am I missing where to download it, or is it not out yet?

Technically neither are out yet, Platinum Red just has a few alphas :)

This hack really excites me, it has from the beginning. I'll continue following this progress, it's an interesting concept. I never really fully finished Platinum, Diamond or Pearl (Despite having all 3 of the games and two copies of Diamond) so this will give me the good push I need to finally finish them. Thanks :)

So here's an image where I didn't cheat:

Yes, digging works now ._.

You're God

No, I'm just a kid programmer

Also I didn't mention that if the item isn't a sphere, it'll display the other message:
Code:
A [item]
was obtained.

Let's be honest, that's better than what most of the players of your hack are lol (I feel like there's a grammatical error in here somewhere, and I can't figure out what)

Lol excellent going.
I'm impressed how you manage to stay motivated on the project for so long and have been steadily progressing.

That being said, I do feel mini games and such should be of lesser priority than actual gameplay.

This is my way of still working on the hack despite not being motivated to do the story or remapping things (because advance map is a terrible tool that I detest)

Have you set up an alternative string that says:

Code:
An [item]
was obtained.

If the item begins with a vowel?

The only one I can think of off the top of my head would be Odd Keystone, but I'm not sure:
1: If the original games do it
2: If it's worth doing it

The original games would do it yes!

Old Amber, Armor Fossil, multiple plates. The full list is there https://www.serebii.net/platinum/underground.shtml.

Should be able to make an ASM hack to check the first byte of the item's name and if it matches capital A E I O U then just buffer the second message starting with An.

Well I knew there were more, I just didn't have a list to base it off of.
Besides, I won't need any asm hacks for anything since I'm not doing this in asm, but I could have a byte set aside for if it's a vowel treasure.. either way it's a lot of work. I'll do it eventually though

That makes sense. Keep it up.

I have one question about Digging Minigame. Ok. It works and congratulations for remake it. But how i can change tool for digging? <I mean changing Hammer with Pickaxe> Only by select or L/R?

A is to dig
L, R, and Select are to switch tools
Arrow keys move the cursor
The other buttons don't have any uses
