A devamp of Emerald, Ruby, or Sapphire?

The cries will be correct, but it will take some time to do that. As for double battles...at this point...no. Unless someone steps forward that knows quite a bit of ASM, it won't be happening.

pokemon crystal and emerald have pokemon's animations right???
the hack will have animations??? (i know that is an syupid question) xD

ill answer your stupid question lol. um no there probably wont be animations considering this is a hack of silver not crystal.

I totally NEVER knew a Silver hack could be hacked like that, It's just amazing O.o

Ah, you should make it a devamp of Ruby/Sapphire. Emerald has got things like animations and that.

But anyway, good luck with this hack!

PS: Melash, do you only have Littleroot town, or have you already done Oldale town, and the routes to Petalburg city?

Probably just the regular bike. However, that will be released in Beta Two, so who knows what could happen by then.

Thanks. I really think people shouldn't put down any older games, just because of their 'graphics.' Anyway, I actually decided to make this a devamp of Emerald and not Ruby/Sapphire, because Emerald has better graphics, more areas, and several more features that will be added in. Trust me, you'll be glad it's an Emerald devamp.

Also, I've finished the mapping up to Oldale Town, but I haven't done the events. Right now I'm working on fixing up problems with the introduction, and then doing the map connections.

And finally...
I really haven't released very many screenshots, mainly because all the graphics are getting a complete overhaul, and the screens would look retarded with the wrong palletes and whatnot. Anyway, here are two new screenshots:

As much as it is an Emerald devamp, I think the name AncientRuby sounds better than AncientEmerald. ;3

But, you should make the devamp in Crystal, I think it'll be better, but maybe there aren't so many tools for it.

And are you sure what Pokémons you're going to insert?

Let's see...I have a few reasons this isn't a Crystal hack. Mainly because Coolboyman told me before that the compression is much harder to work with. I also just feel more comfortable with Gold/Silver. Also, you could only catch 200 Pokemon in Emerald, so I'll insert those Pokemon, plus a few Sinnoh Pokemon. Please note that you will not be able to catch the Sinnoh Pokemon in Hoenn region.

woah this looks soo awesome =) I can't wait till a beta is released (if you plan to release one).
 
I will play this for sure I have played many red and blue hacks only some are good. But for silver and gold hacks I have only played two they were good but this looks spectacular :) good luck and I can not wait until it is up for download

Do you mean, "Will this game have shiny Pokemon implemented into it?" If so, then yes. I am planning on having at least one old legendary become shiny, (sorry no hints) and possibly adding in a new Pokemon that will be Shiny. No hints there also.

Thanks. There aren't many Silver/Gold hacks around here.

Anyway...I don't have any updates for you right now, but I'm working on fixing up the introduction to this game. I'll probably release a picture of the new titlescreen tomorrow. Possibly some other screenshots, but I don't know.
 
Interesting idea. Not that im against it, but why? I don't see a lot of people doing this. Then again, you said you can modify it to have all the pokemon AND have Sinnoh pokemon, and as such, that would be better since you said you can fix the cries, which you can't do in later games (alright, i think you can, but it's quite a bit harder)
