Are we supposed to use the sprites in our posts or is that just a fun thing to do? Anyway, I have a few favorites out of the new bunch.

They finally gave us a proper sea turtle and it's cute. And in my opinion the ghost lamp is the best in its line. Not too simple or too ornate. I love that it has two little glowing eyes and a hat. Actually, now that I think about it, its design looks an awful lot like Baltoy's.

Doesn't it?

As a side note, at my work today I met someone with the last name Celebi. I also saw a license plate that read "ONIX" last week.

Sprites are optional, people just want to give visionary cues, maybe for people that aren't familiar with the names. I like the whole whole Hitomoshi Ghost fire line, and I am glad pokemon finally got around too a Ghost/Fire type.

For me it's always a combination of new Pokémon and improvements of gameplay. It has to be both, though. One of them alone isn't really enough to get my attention obsession.

I don't think Piplup would "squirm" so much. It just seems odd.

Now it looks like Prinplup is limping or something. But I like it's arm movements.

Best animation out of the three. It seems to most realistic IMO.

Well I'm watching Best Wishes subbed and at Episode 9. Even the fillers are interesting. ^^

Racism Generation, WHAT? I never lost my enthusiasm for pokemon in general. I just didn't feel like doing the same repetitive things in the game over and over. As far as the manga I have never read it, as for the Anime I just felt like watching it again after I skipped Sinnoh.

Blitzle. How amazing is that name?! Anywho, I've heard a load of people saying that this is just Ponyta but electric typed, and it is, but Blitzles design just wins it over for me. YAY FOR ELECTRIC PONY. <3

Gigalith. This guy just looks amazing, with high defense and high attack this guy is definitely going on my team. <3

Definitely my favourite in this generation by far. Its looks, shiny form, and attack all together are what wins this over for me. <3

Best design I have seen so far. He is an amazing Sp. Attacker, and has a very varied moveset, meaning he is definitely going on my team. <3

Just to giving you a heads up! If you want to talk strictly about sprites you should head over to this thread. If everyone starts critiquing sprites and sprite animation here we'll just end up having a sprite duplicate thread.

Oh I love Gigalith also! It's one of my favorites of this generation. Something about it is just so endearing. I think it might be the bloody colored sharp rocks jutting out of its body that really boosts its cute appeal. I mean that with all my heart too<333 :3

It's always the games for me. I left the anime after the Johto season ended, tried watching some of the IV generation anime and found it ridiculously stupid, and so parted ways with the anime forever. I've never read the manga. I think I might of read one issue, but I'm not positive about that. I love the story line of the manga, but I'm just not a manga reader. The layout is what bothers me.

Let's give the PGDCC some loving.

So many people like Reuniclus and I have no idea why. D: Gothitelle is clearly the better choice, design wise at least. It reminds me of a more Gothic looking Gardevoir. I also prefer its stat distribution over Reuniclus too.

Can't say much about stat distribution, move pools or anything like that seeing as I'm steering clear of a lot of B&W details, but I've always had a likeness to Reuniclus since I first saw it. Other than Oshawott, it remains to be one of my favorite Gen V Pokémon.

Gothitelle really never did stand out for me design-wise though.

Even though I love Reunculis, I have to admit that I feel the same way . I just can't understand why everybody loves some of these Pokemon. Anyone care to fill me about what's so wonderful about these two hideous creatures? The first one isn't too bad, but Zuzurukin might just be my least favorite Pokemon of the generation. Is it the pants? The Mohawk? Maybe it's the simplicity?

You can say the evolution is hideous, but not Scraggy. I think it's an adorable little guy. Not to mention, it got a neat name to go with it for the English version too.

...and just look at it's sprite animation. :3

These two are starting to grow on me a bit. At first I rejected them, but then after awhile Im started to like them even more. The pants falling down reminds me of a child trying to be potty-trained. And the Mohawk is pretty darn close to the time now.

Yeah a friend of mine told me at school and I did it yesterday. It's actually the first ever legit shiny that I have. Shows how much bad luck I get in Pokémon games. :(

I got all three at Gamestop not WIN20111.

And you can only get the Raikou now. Since this is the run date. Unless adjusting the game clock does anything.

Raikou - February 7th to February 13th
Entei - February 14th to February 20th
Suicune - February 21st February 27th.

Hey well at least you can say your first shiny was a Raikou! You don't have to say you got it from an event. ;D Most shinys are pretty hideous in my opinion anyways.

Thanks for the dates Kenshin! I thought I might have been missing something. Especially how right when you get the event Pokemon it says Legendary trio event so that made me think for a second that I should be getting all three at once. Now I'll just have to keep those dates on mind~

That's a great idea! Although I find it hard to let go of special Pokemon. :(
