Pokemon General Daily Chit-Chat

I totally forgot that the Celebi event is coming up. I need to head to Gamestop since I don't have Wi-Fi at home. I want to put it on HG/SS then trade it over to Black and White so that I can get that event too.
 
I don't think it's offered over WiFi anyway. It could be later though.
 
The first event I ever got was Oak's letter in my Pokemon Platinum, so I could get Shaymin (idk if I still have that Shaymin because my Pokemon Platinum is from US and my DSi is from UK, so idk if I traded it into SS, but hopefully I did), because I only figured out how to get wi-fi late the year before last. I've never been able to go to a non wi-fi event because they only happen in one place in Scotland, and my dad isn't going to drive me 20-30 minutes just so I can download a Pokemon. But yeah, since Oak's letter the only wifi events I've missed are Yellow Forest and Mew, because I never had Soul Silver when the Yellow Forest was going on, and I lost my Soul Silver during September last year. But yeah, I got 2/3 of the dogs anyway and I'm getting the last one on Monday <('-'<)

Being new to these things I have no idea how it will end up working out. I do hope so though since I could use a Celebi!

I don't think I was that excited for Yellow Forest and I don't remember having my wifi up and running at that point so I missed it too. I did get the Mew event, but I've done absolutely nothing with it so far. I don't even remember which game I have it on right now which is bad since I like to keep track of these things! Also thanks for the Suicune reminder! Seriously, someone needs to post here everyday until the Suicune event is out or I will forget and be very angry. D:

has anyone tried this? basically you have 12 minutes to type in all the original 151 pokemon that you can remember. i was playing this with someone at the office and he got to 142 before he had to give up and i was at around 110 with 2 minutes to go but i had a customer come in.

I did the challenge and I got all 151 Pokemon in 4 minutes, 45 seconds.

Yes! I've taken that quiz quite a few times, but fortunately/unfortunately (depending on how you look at it) I can never get them all. I usually end up forgetting Pokemon like Krabby/Kingler, Horsea/Seadra, and Diglett/Dugtrio. I'll have to take it again soon though and post my results.

the first time i took it I forgot rattata/raticate and the legendary birds, among others. i was furious with myself that i could forget those. rattatas were everywhere in the original games and extremely annoying (though i remembered zubat) and the birds were legendaries, idk how i could forget them

Hahaha that's funny considering I just retook it and actually missed Zubat and Golbat. xD It's weird how the most common ones can slip your mind sometimes!

I also missed Cubone, Marowak, Lickitung, Goldeen, Seaking, and Snorlax.
 
Oh yay quizzes. I took it, too. I couldn't remember a lot. Eevee and it's evolutions, Snorlax, Zubat and Golbat, all the Nidos, Tentacool and Tentacruel, Slowpoke and Slowbro, and a couple of others.

I almost forgot Pikachu, too. Maybe I just wanted to forget.

Nice find. Ugh, I forgot Rattata, Raticate, Voltorb, Electrode, Tangela, Kangaskhan, Scyther, Pinsir, Jynx, Eevee, Flareon, Jolteon, and Vaporeon. >_>

I did, however, get Pokemon "#152", so that was a relief. ;)
 
So, the release of Black and White are coming soon. Are you guys excited? Planning to pick up a copy? Or even both?
