We should bring it up again. xD We have more of a support base right now. But I think doing something like that would drop activity in any general Shipping debates thread because each ship would have it's individual thread. =( Bah. But who cares?

I can't think of many recent ideas that weren't rejected in cq&f, so. I think the shipping debates thread covers it anyway, it's not that active to need a forum. 20 posts max in two days does not need a forum.
 
But see, the reason it has 20 posts max in two days is because it's such a small thing. If it were to expand, I'm sure the subject would be more attractive, especially with Best Wishes coming out soonish.
 
Neekah you heart breaker! :< We can still try though. The main reason why we don't have much of an activity in the Shipping Debates thread is because of all the clutter. If we get it more orgainised, it would boost activity.

EDIT: See? TSO and I think the same. xD
 
There's...what, less than 10 regulars currently? I think you should increase the number of regulars to the thread before you consider a subforum otherwise it'll just end up dying. :(

I'm saying this again, the main reason people abstain from posting in the Shipping debates is because of lack of orgainisation. Half the time, even I am clueless as to what is being discussed. =(
If all the Pokemon Anime regulars start posting in a Shipping sub-forum, we will have a lot more activity.
 
And again, the reason for the lack of regulars is because it's so condensed. It's a bit like the TCTI debate; people feeling intimidated by the regular posters, thinking of them as elite? Probably people don't think we're elite, but when it's just four people posting on the last three pages, it's a bit awkward to step in.

Is that a serious enough topic to build enough people to even consider a sub forum?
 
@moments. Oh yes. It completely is. Serebii and BMGf both have pretty active Shipping sub-forums. I've actually been going there for Shipping more so than here because I like how they lay it out.

Take into consideration that this potential shipping debates forum would actually be in Pokemon General - because there are shippings regarding Pokemon manga.
 
Yes, it is a serious matter with dead serious debates (barfights, according to ak47). If someone has the time to go through the past shipping debates threads, well...
 
@Forever I don't see it working well there, though. The main and majority of ships are definitely anime-centric.

It's not like it would be a full forum of debating, more like a forum where people can talk about shippings in a more orderly manner. Not necessarily debating all the time.
 
Pretty much agreed with TSO. You know what? The manga shipping debates were all once merged with the Shipping debates thread in Pokemon Anime section. Now look what happened to them once they broke off: A four month old thread with 27 replies and the last post being of somewhere in October. We are far better off.
