That's from 'La Nuit'. The whole thing is a beautiful song, and this line is just a particular favourite. It means "Play hide and seek with the morning, play hide and seek.". Given the whole song is about a night out, it pretty much means that they don't want the night to end so they're hiding from the morning. ♥

From 'Wake Up!'. The song was for Barry M, the make-up company, so it references many of their colours. This line just seems so poetic and airy.

From "The Tears". The whole song is open for interpretation, but I think it's pretty much about a woman who finds that her partner is cheating on her. This lyric expresses her raw rage at the other woman, showing the violence and possessiveness that could come about as a result of the discovery.

This last one isn't so much a lyric as a poem, but I find it to be beautiful anyway. And it has the most unlikely of sources... Doctor Who! Would you believe? Anyway, this is from "The Beast Below".
