Dragon's been an Elite 4 type 3 times before (Kanto, Hoenn, Kalos), so its not unusual.

I'd like to think that everyone will get at least one type they like; there's gonna be overlap between types because there's 18 types but 14 people picking 2 types.

I dunno. That's why I suggested having our own forum. Running as a single thread with eight or nine possible challenges at once could be messy. Just look at how the qualifiers went.

Well, I'm certainly not making a thread for the League again. Managing really active threads, that's for someone else. I'm not on all day. :P You know, for being the person who started all this, I do feel like I'm not setting a great example, if anyone would follow my example.

Like i said, there's poke leagues at serebii, and not only one, they got plenty. They got it orginezed though.

The way i thought it could be was we get it stickied in the front of battling, and then broken down from there.

And I don't think that things will be that bad in the new thread. Besides the OP, its just gonna be sign-up posts and posts of the challengers confirming their victories; nothing crazy, so long as the OP is regularly updated.

Mods can update, so anyone else not a mod can create it and thus another updater.

Well, the only mods that can edit the OP are wolf, Zeffy, and hstaffers. IDK if we'll wanna bother them with that.

Would certainly help if this league was maintained properly. And what about badges etc as emblems and stuff? Would be a nice touch?

I agree that having emblem badges would be cool, but I don't wanna make 16 different emblems and then drop all those on the admins' laps to upload. Not to mention that having to hand all those out to the challengers would not be fun because the current emblem-giving system kinda sucks.

True, but then shouldn't it just be the ones for the actual gym leaders then say the hall of fame? Either way, we could implement badges in some shape or form, whether it be emblems or just a little sprite by the side of the challenger's name on the OP.

16 is the number of gym leaders.

But the little sprite thing beside their name in the OP sounds like a good idea.

So there's another advantage to our own forum. We, as in Polar, you, and whoever else can update things, can moderate that forum (not official mods mind for those that aren't already, like Polar), and from there they don't have to be involved.

I agree. It would be a pain for admins. since they have to do that. That said, Necrum awarded emblems for his challenge himself; I thought he was just a standard moderator, too? I think you can award them Zekrom. Ask an admin. and see what they say. :)

What I'm saying is that I'm physically unable to edit the OP myself because BTB isn't my section; I'm not authorized to edit posts outside of the X/Y section, so besides the thread maker, it would fall to wolf, Zeffy, or an smod to edit the OP, and I don't want to throw that job on them.

Oh, I know I can award emblems to people; I've done it before. Pretty sure I can award emblems for things outside of my section too. It's just that I'd rather not have to give out all those gym badge emblems. That's a lot of emblems, and the emblem interface is not fun.

If there were going to be emblems involved, it should only be for when you've beaten the league. Alternatively, we could simply add the badges to our signatures.
