Prism League Discussion (Previously "Our own Pokemon X/Y League")

Leaders/E4 using Pokemon whose Megas change to a different type, yes or no?

I wanted steel or ground but those are taken so I guess I'll go with Ghost.

That's actually good, we didn't have a Ghost user already.

EDIT: I'm a moron. It was picked first round, I thought it wasn't.

EDIT: Now that I think about it, I'm surprised no one went for the Protean Kecleon...it drops Color Change, matching types based on what hits it, for Protean, which changes types based on what it uses. Like Froakie.

What do you mean hpw long we have? As far as i know the league can be set up by saturday/sunday... though i just finished breeding. So i guess when we are officially done to answer the question.
 
I'm gonna bump up the OP:

I really wanted Dragon as one of my types>_>, but Fire/Rock is strangely fitting since I'm about to get a B.S. in Geoscience. Kinda sucks that both types are weak to Water and Ground, 2 common offensive types, but I'll come up with something. totally should use Magcargo

Also, a few things we still need to discuss are:

-the issue of Singles/Doubles in regards to challengers
-the league name (which hopefully should be solved soon since the poll has been changed; remember to vote, everyone!)
-The rule about disconnects. Polar said something about it before, but I don't really remember what exactly is was that we decided on when it comes to DCs, and I'm pretty sure that the current rule in the OP needs to be ironed out.

Just in case any of you didn't hear, Cakesu is going to make the badges for us. Perhaps Polar can tell her to start working on them when he gets on.

Also, if everyone could tell me if they're doing Single Battles or Double Battles, that'd be great too.

I just have a team ready for Singles, Doubles, and Triples, so I have no idea what to do about this for people who have teams ready for only Singles or Doubles.

I think that if a disconnect happens, it should be reviewed by us, and then we decide.

If someone disconnects, I'd think the Leader would get the win unless there was conclusive proof that it was not the challenger's fault (taking video, for instance). But then again, I'm not a cartridge person, so this isn't really my cup of tea.

Yep, I'm still at work lol but there is a solution which actually gives us pretty conclusive proof over who disconnects in a 3DS match. I'll explain when I get home, because ew iPhone keypad- but we don't even need video, just a picture actually.

Note: Symbols should only be good for each E4 challenge. If a challenger loses to any of the E4, they reset to zero and must try again.

So you knock out his 5th Pokémon. He ragequits on you before the 6th comes out. Meanwhile, you have 5 Pokémon left. I would say at this point the victory is definitive. But in that vein, even if reviewed, the challenger obviously needs to do a lot of work before returning, so...

Besides, I will try to document the proceedings each time for review purposes.

I was just thinking of pictures in case the challenger lies. The Leader takes a picture, but it's not needed unless the challenger challenges the official result announced by the Leader. Of course, we assume all Leaders will be honest.
