Do you ever change the wallpaper in your PC boxes?
I've done it a couple of times before, but nowadays, not at all; I don't tend to put too much attention on wallpapers.

Not always, but sometimes I do based on the Pokemon that are in there. If I decide to group boxes in terms of Pokemon typing, then I tend to color-code/theme the wallpapers. For example, if I name Box 1 "Grass," then the wallpaper will tend to be green or something that depicts trees/nature. If Box 3 is named "Steel," then the wallpaper will be silver/metallic.

Nowadays I tend to group everything by National Dex number, so wallpapers tend to be generic.

That's been a thing since gen 3, I believe. The variety of wallpapers we have available has increased with each generation, I believe.

I would like to see remade Kanto games honestly a bit more than this, but this is still pretty cool.

Honestly...no, not really. ORAS failed to capture my attention, and we've already had remakes of RBY in the form of FRLG. I realise that was a while ago now, but still, remaking remakes at this stage seems a little redundant to me. I want to see DPPt remakes before RBY again.

...also, the 3D models are ugly, the 8-bit music is superior, and the nostalgia I'm going to get from playing Yellow again is probably going to make me cry. The games might feel incredibly dated by now, but that's part of the experience!

Let alone Kanto. It already given a chance, but failed miserably I would rather see Sinnoh Remake instead Kanto Remake because they failed so bad at it.

I'm not sure if they've done they before, have they? If not, I feel it'd play out pretty well, and fans would enjoy the change, too.

I agree with most of the last few comments, Kanto doesn't need another remake because it's been so overdone. But if they have to do another Kanto game, I'd like to see a completely new story like what Sun mentioned.

I would have preferred almost anything other than what they announced. I'm not going to pay $30+ for something I can already do.
 
I was really hoping to see new RBY remakes at some point, and this probably means that those will be out of the question. (Although at this point, I'd kind of like to see sequels set in Kanto, with post-Elite Four in Johto, kind of like the reverse of GSC.) That being said, I'm really excited about RBY re-releases, as I don't have my GBA with me most of the time, and my Red and Yellow will probably die soon. I'm also hoping that if these sell well, we'll get GSC re-releases, since I haven't been able to play those for years, and I miss them so much.

I'm actually much more excited about RBY re-releases than I feel like I should be. For whatever reason, I can't stop thinking about them, even though there are other options for playing those these days. I guess I'd just really like to go through those again on a handheld system, perhaps taking a more competitive approach to my team-building this time around.

I buy things in between (expenses and effect), but when budgets are tight I go with cheaper and less efficient

I go with the cheaper ones if the situation forces me too. Otherwise I go for expensive quality items once I have enough money.
 
I go for expensive, better quality items as soon as I can afford them. For a lot of items, I switch over fairly early, with the exception of Pokeballs. I like being able to buy lots of those (and get premier balls, too), so I tend to wait to switch from Poke Balls to Great Balls until I've have decent savings built up.
 
I don't buy a ton of items, so I usually buy the more expensive ones because I end up with a lot of money anyway :P

I take the middle option: if there's a cheaper option and it's good enough, I'll go with that, otherwise I'll go for the expensive option. For example, I'll buy Hyper Potions instead of Max Potions, because my Pokemon don't usually have much over 200 HP, and Super Repels over Max Repels, because you get more steps for your money. Although I won't compromise when it comes to Full Heals, Ultra Balls, etc. It's not like money is a scarce resource in the game, after all...I just naturally hoard it because it is in pretty much every other JRPG I could name.
