How would you rather get to the top floor of a large complex?

A) Use the stairs

B) Take the elevator

C) Ride the escalator

I like C. I have friends who are scared of escalators, but I think they are fun. They are like mini rides. You see stuff while you rise. Can do that in an elevator too, if it's glass, which would tempt me to ride, but elevators can also get crowded and uncomfortable depending on how many people are with you, so I'll probably get on the escalator unless I had lots of heavy bags. Stairs are dull and everyday, can also get tiring if it's many storeys, so they are my last choice.

Normally I would just go for the quick ride up the elevator, but lately I've needed the exercise so I would go for the stairs. Can I take the elevator halfway and jump on the stairs the rest of the way? I'll just pick stairs...

Just for fun, if this question is actually some kind of metaphor for life, I would say take the stairs. Life isn't something that should be rushed through IMO, unless dealing with some kind of emergency situation.

2-4ish floors: Escalator.
5+ floors: Elevator.

Depends on crowds too. Would go for the stairs in the event of a big bottleneck at the escalator. Tends to be empty.

I ride escalators at every opportunity.

On the other hand, I actually have a slight fear of elevators. Not enough to let it stop me, but I'll never be comfortable in them.

I don't really like lifts. The idea of being that high with no control isn't something I vibe super well with. I'm not like, parlaysed with fear, but I don't like it. I'd generally prefer stairs but I don't really have the stamina to do huge numbers of them anymore. So that leaves one I guess.

I love escalators, haven't been on one in ages!
But also, you can either ride or climb them with no real danger. You can get trapped in an elevator.

There aren't that many places with escalators around here... I can only think of one.

Between Elevators and stairs I'll usually pick stairs if I don't have to go up too far, like say 5 floors or so. Otherwise I'll take the lift.
There aren't many places with that many floors around here so usually it's just stairs =P

So for this complex it depends on the amount of floors really. I'll just say stairs and hope it isn't like 30 floors xD

A) Use the stairs

I prefer walking most of the time if I can! The exception being if the escalator is right nearby and I'm not sure where the stairs are. Elevators are a very last resort, either if the others are totally packed (very unlikely), we're going very high up, or there's nothing else around.
