Intriguing lol

Bronzong@Leftovers
252 HP/ 108 DEF / 148 SP.DEF
Relaxed nature
Trait : levitate
- Gyro ball
- Earthquake
- Stealth Rock
- Hypnosis / Reflect / light Screen / Rest

Yeah, this wants Relaxed for Gyro ball.

Mix Lucario fails, your better focusing on one offense, either fully Special or fully physical.

Okay, thanks for the Bronzong. How about a Sp.luke?
(must include Aura Sphere,sry,)

Oh no the Tyranitar's attacking again!!!Fzzzt...

Lucario@Choice Specs

252 SP.ATT / 252 SPEED / 6 HP
Trait : Steadfast
- Aura Sphere
- Vacuum Wave
- Dragon Pulse / Hidden power Ice
- Shadow Ball / Dark pulse

2hko's blissey with Aura Sphere

Thankyou.come again.
Could someone give me a good EV set for a Timid Rapid Spinning special atacking Starmie please? (whew)

can i have a gastrodon set?

KIddo, i posted the standard starmie in your thread :|

I'd EV train it in Defense. >.<

Snorlax @ Leftovers
Trait: Thick Fat
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 252 HP / 200 Defense / 56 Attack
- Rest / Earthquake / Crunch
- Body Slam
- Rest / Earthquake / Crunch
- Sleep Talk / Curse

Have fun getting run over by every special threat in the metagame! Even in Advance Snorlax needed a fair amount of special defense. It isn't Blissey...it has 25 less base stat points in special defense and 95 base stat points less in HP. Snorlax absolutely CRAVES max or near max SDef & HP, or you need to get another special wall.

It's also a tribute to how much Nintendo and Gamefreak screwed up the balance of power in the metagame, but that's another story...

And I saw Dark_Azelf posting a Registeel set. Well...

Registeel @ Leftovers
Trait: Clear Body
EVs: 252 HP / 56 Def / 200 SDef
Careful / Sassy Nature
- Toxic
- Explosion
- Stealth Rock
- Hammer Arm / Earthquake / Thunder

If you really have Skarmory troubles, Thunder is necessary. Otherwise, I'd keep it the way it is. Registeel is awesome.

Well, Gofre gave me some sound comments, but I'd like to hear other comments on Persain. I've seen it played once or twice, and I know it has been played in OU.

Persian@Life Orb
Hypnosis
Nasty Plot
Swift
Water Pulse/Dark Pulse/HP [Fire/Fighting]
EV:Max SPD & SP.ATK

As said, Gofre gave some good pointers, but I'd like more. MOAR.

Thankyou for the Starmie set Gofre, hope i didn't offend by asking for another, i just wanted to see what others thought.

If u dont hav the Simpsons Game for Xbox360,PS3 or Wii u r crazy.

EDIT: @ Sims

Well, I'd hardly say pointers lol. I simply indicated that steels will give you trouble. In response to what you said, hypno walls anything that doesnt use physical attacks, but at least you hit them for neitral damage. Pokes like agron, whos low SpDef is usually exploitable, will become a bigger challenge if you cannot hit for at least neutral. Therefore HP fight is looking good, but the added confusion that WP offers could come in handy for phazing.

Still, its nice to be appreciated :)

@Kiddo:
No you didnt offend me, i was merely reminding you that I posted the most widely used spinner-starmie out there ;)

K. Can i hav a set for a Crunching Physical Luxray? or if there is a better equivalent just say.

N.B. there will be no ,ore posts from chief dragonite worshiper (me) till about 500pm Monday.

Lucario@LifeOrb/ExpertBelt
Jolly
252Att/252Spd/6HP
SwordsDance
Crunch
ExtremeSpeed
Close Combat.
Standard SD luke. Alternatively:

Lucario@ChoiceBand
Jolly
252Att/252Spd/6HP
CloseCombat
Crunch
StoneEdge
BlazeKick/ExtremeSpeed/BulletPunch
Standard CB luke. Personal pref really.

Meh, I've found jolly to more benficial. Besides, after a SD/CB boost the difference isnt all too noticable.

Guys, he said Luxray.

Luxray @ Choice Band
Adamant/Jolly | Rivaly (Male tends to work better as the majority of competitive pokes tend to be Male)
< 252 Atk, 252 Spd, 6Spd/SAtk* >
~ Crunch
~ Spark
~ Ice Fang
~ Thunder*/Quick Attack

Thunder if you fear being walled, Quick Attack if you think you need a priority move.
Hitting a pokemon of the same gender will net you 25% extra damage, but the opposite will drop the damage by 25%, so choose the gender well.

With Choice Band, you're either getting +75% boost if they're the same gender or +25% if they're the opposite. Either way, you're packing more power than normal.

Yeah, Thunder's there for its immense power to deal with Skarm. However...

Damage: 175 - 206
Damage: 52.40% - 61.68%

Jolly Luxray CB Spark vs. 252/252 Impish Skarmory. From the looks, there's a VERY high chance of 2hko. Watch out for incoming Electivire, however.

Looking for a good Milotic set. Will be replacing a Blissey with it, so it has to be bulky (I heard that's what they typically are)

well, I don't know exact numbers, but...

Milotic@Leftovers *MiloTANK!*
Calm
252HP/(Unsure of def/sp.def spread, but 200+sp.def I'd assume)

Hypnosis
Recover
Surf
Ice Beam/HP Electric/Toxic

HP Electric is nice on pretty much any water for handling with Gyarados. You could run the above set with Rest-Talk > Hypnosis and Recover for status absorption. Toxic wears down other walls like Blissey.
