If there was a fire, what items would you take with you on your way out the door? You can bring as many as you can physically carry. You can't go back in to get more since it's a pretty serious fire and your house is going to burn down completely in a matter of minutes. You gotta hurry. Grab what you can find, and don't waste time trying to find something that you don't know where it is in your mind at this exact moment.

To be quite honest, I'd probably run straight to the door in order to escape. I would even forget I had valuable things in the heat of the moment(no pun intended)

I'd grab my laptop and phone, chargers for both, and a box of Cheez-Its if they're present in the household.

Guess I'll have to hit the gym to build up more physical arm space XD Anyway, first thing that came to mind was my MacBook. Cannot live without my computer, and hypothetically speaking, my life would revolve around it considering I'm in the computer field. Other items would probably be anything that has sentimental value like my video game limited editions, and possibly some clothes, or everyday devices like my phone, and my PS3. Yeah, my video games are important to me ;; I don't know how I'd be able to quickly grab them...

I'd immediately get my Zorua plushie, my blankets and this Case-It binder that has all of the stuff for this story I've been working on since 2011. I already lost all the digital files a few months ago so I am NOT letting that binder burn.
Once I have those I'd grab my backpack from my closet and fill it up with whatever I could :x

I'd only be taking my laptop, that's the only thing I use other than my xbox, but saving that would be time consuming and pointless if I can't save any of my games.

I would grab my pets. I couldn't bear leave them behind and I know that if I didn't try searching for them then I would feel pretty guilty for a very, very long time.

Dunno if pets are excluded from this equation, but if you only want to see what things, I would definitely grab my laptop, my games, and the ashes of my deceased cat. As much as it would suck, everything else can be replaced.

Honestly the first thing I would grab is this little box that I keep of important things/little objects that are really important to me and my laptop because it has so many things on it that I want to save. Next I'd grab my phone and that is probably all that I could carry.

Backpack holding my laptop (and charger), mouse, phone (and charger), wallet, and car keys.

I'd probably include more depending on how much longer I can stay. Probably not going to be able to go further than grabbing the items above.

Probably my laptop (it's my lifeline) and charger (it's my laptop's lifeline).

Er... that wouldn't take up much, so let's see... I'd put on my favorite hoodie (Gotta love my hoodies) and my handhelds (PSP and NDS) with Flashcart. (Who gives a crap about regular cartridges when you've got flashcart?)

Since I'd still have space even with that stuff, I guess I'll pick up my sister's pet rabbit on the way to the front door. She'd go crazy if it died probably. Also it's pretty damn cute.

Kind of an emotional question at the moment, since a friend's home burned on Friday...

I would grab my grandma's urn and the ferret - every thing else can be replaced.

I've got a mostly empty backpack at the foot of my bed right now, so I'd probably just throw my 3DS, wallet, and laptop + charger in there, along with anything else I feel is remotely useful in the next 15-30 seconds, before I bolt out of the house. I'd hate to see family heirlooms and the like get left behind (a few things we have are well over 100 years old), but most of them wouldn't be worth the effort of grabbing unfortunately.

In no particular order: pets, laptop, phone, basket of childhood games, photos any usbs/hardrives with photos and videos on them...and well yeah.

I would save any and all people in the house first. Then if I still can, I grab my phone and laptop and get the hell out. Insurance can cover the rest.

I would grab my backback (it is like 2 steps away), my phone (right next to it, my Bible (just got a new one, yippee!), my watch, and my wallet. I have an exit right next to my room, so I can take my time. I can just run to my neighbors house (we are really good friends), also they would let me spend however long I need until I can move back in , rent an apartment, etc.

Passport, phone, wallet. As long as I have these three things I'm free to go and do what I want. Maybe I'd grab a change of underwear for bonus points. I have nothing of deep sentimental value, that's all just in my memories.

I'm not sentimental about material things so I'd go for anything worth a lot of money. My gold and diamond jewelry, my computer. If I was at my apartment in Indiana probably the TV because it's big but it's light and it was expensive. Also my cat obviously but I don't think that's the point of the question.

I can't not take my cat and laptop (and charger). They're essential.
I'd be able to replace everything else most likely but if a fire occurred I'd doubt I would have enough time to grab everything that meant something to me.
