Do you save your money? For what reason?
How much money do you have in savings?

I have a high income, and a lot of savings.

I prefer to spend it though. Before I made good money I never had savings. I Travel aboard very often. We get one life, I want to experience as much as I can. It would be a shame if I died, old, with lots of money but few memories of the things I experienced.

I am lucky now I can do both. Moral of the story is work hard, get paid.

I don't have anything in particular to be saving for at the moment, except to eventually pay off my student debt ;-; I know that often times people my age, with student loans, use the money they get frivolously; I'm the complete opposite. All the money I get from birthdays, relatives, allowance, etc. goes straight to the bank for future use, and acts as a safety net whenever something happens. That being said, I've managed to save up quite a bit, and would probably be considered "rich" in comparison to other college students XD

I save approximately half my income, I'm lucky to be living this year in a country like Argentina where everything is half price compared to Spain. I want to study a Master's degree and just know I have money in reserve in case I ever need it. Half of it is invested in stocks and mid-term bonds, the other half is in an account I can use at any point but which still pays me over the inflation rate, so I have no hurry to take it.

    I mostly save more than half of my Pocket money, and I am gonna get a Job soon, so I'll be full of $ {XD}

    Savings? What savings?

I am working poor. I make enough money to pay my bills and feed myself and my roommate, but not much to spare. $150 tops, typically less than $100 (especially on rent paychecks!). Instead of saving the little I have, I typically spend it. I probably should've saved like $20 a check, but I didn't. :/

Not having any savings is biting me in the ass right now. There have been a bunch of little things that have resulted in more expenses than usual or less income than usual, and I have had like very little to no spare money at all. I've been stiffing my poor roommate on his half of the bills for awhile now. If I had savings, I could have at least paid my roommate/had a bit more money to spare when I really needed it. It sucks.

I don't even have a credit card to fall back on (though at this point it would've been super dangerous anyway, I imagine).

I'm saving up for a lot of things. Retirement, a down payment on a house, a car, college expenses, emergencies, this gorgeous pair of shoes... But I'm dirt poor, so as you can imagine my current savings are practically nonexistent at this point. I am trying to change that, though.

And no I'm not stupid enough to pay $300 for shoes.

Right now I don't have a lot of € in my bank account (I went on a shopping spree last week lol).. But I am good at saving money because I don't spend much..

I do not have much money really in my bank as I spend it all on Kaito stuff.

    Oh goodness. xDD

Savings... yeah... I normally save up my pocket money only to be wasted on anime events or comic books. :/

Now, if I'm at college and get myself a part-time job, I need to be able to work out my expenses. But that'll have to wait... at least 4 more months.

I don't save. I don't earn enough money to save. I constantly find myself borrowing $20 here and there from my parents because I can never afford petrol. Once I start earning more I'm going to start saving, I plan to be living off slightly more than what I am now until I can afford to move out and stuff.

Just wanted to say that I love those corgis in your signature! :D

Both my sister, and I are quite anal when it comes to seeing our bank accounts deplete to a certain amount. For example, if we each had $5500, we wouldn't want it to go below the $5000 threshold XD I guess that mentality is what keeps us from spending frivolously; we like to hoard monies. Although, she does have a tendency to spend hundreds of dollars on make-up meanwhile I spend it on plushes, and video games, which isn't that often.

Boom. You don't get to take it with you when you die. Kids can make their own damn money. Congrats on the success.

Saving money is such a joke to me. I'd rather buy what I want now than try to accumulate it to what end? I'll just be forcing myself to suffer waiting to get those things but I'll eventually just buy them with the money I had previously saved. It's redundant and counterintuitive, unless you're having to stick to a tight budget, in which case it is definitely safer to limit yourself to the resources you need.

I save my money more than spend it. I mostly save in case of an emergency. As for how much I have, I have a nice amount is all I will say.

I mainly save to pay for my travels. I spent years saving to become an exchange student, and that worked out in the end.

Now I owe some hundreds to my friends (because Japan, ♥♥♥♥ you, you took my money from me I was not prepared), but I'm working alongside school to get more money to pay that ♥♥♥♥ off and to travel more next year.

I've been saving up for a while now, not by choice, just because my work schedule means it's difficult to go out and spend money on enjoying myself as turning up for work hanging out of your arse is frowned upon, (apparently).

I do need to get myself driving lessons and a car, however, if just for the sense of freedom more than anything else, and it would mean less sponging lifts from my friends. Some day i'll be looking at buying my own house/flat/apartment but honestly, that's a pretty long-term thing which will happen a lot further down the road.
