I'm in 7th grade. And yes I have Italian, my school offers 4 languages, Italian, Spanish, French and Greek. But my Italian teacher is to easy on us. He teaches the same thing for the whole month.:P So that's why Italian is so easy for me.
 
I had kind of a weird school day today. Well, for first hour English we took a test on Much Ado About Nothing in which it seemed like everyone failed, lol. After that, we had to go to homeroom to pick up our report cards. I got a "B" in English, an "A" in Band, a "C" in Math, an "A" in History, an "A" in Art, and a "C" in Biology. It all came to a GPA of 3.1 something. I would of got an "A" in Biology if I didn't miss a 100 point test. >_< When I brought the report card home, my sister's pet rabbit was trying to eat it. XD
After that, it was off to Band. My friend was shaking me because of a video game release and was going to let me borrow his Wind Waker game. We were going to play music today because of not playing yesterday. But, the teacher had to leave to take care of his sick son. Then, the fire alarm went off. That is when things got crazy. We had to go outside and cross the street and wait until we were allowed to go back in. Everyone were freezing. Most students were wearing t-shirts and it was only 10 degrees Fareinheit outside. Brrr... Then I saw my locker partner running to his van and was being followed by like 10 other students. They all went inside and my locker partner turned it on and must of turned on the heat. Then, someone else came running from the football field with a school flag running around like a maniac. Then we could finally go in. After 15 min of waiting for class to end, I went to lunch. After that, I took a test in Math, watched a movie on Mussolini in History, drew pictures of Pokemon I made up in Art, and watched a movie on frogs in Biology, were it was our student teacher's last day. When class ended, he shaked everyone's hand has they left. He had to go student teach at my 7th grade Science teacher's class. XD
What a crazy day... :P
 
Today, we were doing assingments in Algebra, and after that, we went to Physics to take a quiz, and after that I went to french and since it was someone's birthday, we sung the birthday song, and after that, we went to the spring sports ralley, which was loud and boring. o.O; Then we ran 6 laps on the track field. (Which is more than a mile...) Then I went to Creative Writing, and I couldn't log on to the laptop, and wasted one period sitting there doing nothing, then we went to English and took a test on Romeo & Juliet's Act 1 and 2. n_n;

That was my school day. =P

Algebra eh? How did you find it? I usually find Algebra easy, but was it easy for you?

I am in greade 9 and we are learning integers. It is pretty easy on account that it is review, pretty simple. . . *positive+positive=negative, negative+positive=negative etc* We are starting Algebra right when I return to school, I was in Academic math but I switched down early into our Algebra, it was pretty simple, but yet complicated, because it was a combination of algebra, BEDMAS, and integers x_X; So I switched down to Applied, and so far I am doing pretty good. :)
 
Guess what! Today I had to run the mile... and I acctually passed! I found out that the passing score for girls is 10min 30sec. I got 10min 13sec! Sadly... that was the best mile I had ever run. EVER! And this was after not running a mile in 6 months too... So this means I acctually passed all 4 physical fitness tests!

A lot of the girls in my class scored 12+ min though. They basically walked the whole thing because they didn't care. The second they found out that it didn't count toward our grade (it's for the state really) they decided not to try. My teacher did say that he would look at effort though...

I have a really bad cold now... and in chorus, since I am a high soprano, there are 7 of us that sing a really high note in the song O Danny Boy. Usually I can hit it fine... but today, nothign came out... NOTHING! It was really horrible...

Congratulations on that, snowangel. ;) I wish my gym teacher wouldn've tested us on that. I could run a mile about 5-6 min. So passing that kind of test will be very easy for me.
I hope your cold will get better. Come to think of it, my throat is sort of dry.

Heh, It is quite annoying when you get a cold isn't it? I remember back in Middle School we would have Music and whenever we had to sing and I had a cold it sounded worse then what it usually sounds. Enough to make you wanna plug your ears =P Anyways, I'm not much of a singer anyways, so I don't care if I sound awful or not, just doing it cause I have to. =P

It must be the cold. I can't think of many other reasons as to why that would happen.

Lol, that's a great excuse for not singing. Well one time I knew each one of the people in my class would have to sing in front of the whole class. I pretended I had a fever and a cold. Turns out I really really did get a fever and a cold that day. :P

Thanks... I hate running the mile. But I was determined to get close to 10min this time around. It was acctually easier now because it's not really hot outside yet. In the spring it get's really hot and that makes it harder to run. This one guy lapped me... he got 6 something. But I lapped someone too! But that's not really an accomplishment considering they basically walked the ENTIRE mile. Usually they just skip gym completely...

I hate this cold. *sniff* I don't want to be sick on my birthday... my sister made me sick. Plus it's gonna snow AGAIN this week and I have to walk home. Everyone seems to have a cold this week. I've been like this since Friday. It was really hard to sing today though...

Hey, at least this thread didn't lose a lot of posts! Mainly because it was the weekend...

It's funny, because my teacher said that I had a good strong voice, personally I think she was dillusional. xD I'm more of an actor, not a singer.

That'll be awfull is you were sick in my birthday. The wierdesy part was that I was sick on my birthday for 4 striaght years...scary. o.o
*Puts hands in the air* Hallelujah, it's actually hot in N.Y. for once this year. :P It's around 60 degrees. But it's not that hot though.

Thanks again... I'm glad you thought I could do it... I sure didn't! But it wasn't as hard today as I thought it would be!

Yeah, colds are not fun. It really stinks. Especially when I have to sing what's basically a solo (it's really 7 of us) in chorus. Yeah, no high notes came out. At all. The whole end of the song for me was just air! Hopefully my cold won't last much longer. With my birthday and a concert for chorus coming up and all. But my colds/coughs are known to last weeks...

Well that's good to hear!

I used to be able to sing pretty high when I was little, (like most everyone) but now it's extremely difficult.

I always seem to get sick on holidays. My birthday, Christmas....I always get sick!.....and I don't know why!
