.....and that's not! You have a cold? Aw, I hope you get better! I'm actually really suprised I haven't gotten one for a while.

I haven't gotten a cold for a while. Probaly the last cold I got was around...my birthday. :P

Well that's good to hear!

I used to be able to sing pretty high when I was little, (like most everyone) but now it's extremely difficult.

I always seem to get sick on holidays. My birthday, Christmas....I always get sick!.....and I don't know why!
Hehe.....
I get sick for holidays a lot too. 2 years ago on Easter we were supposed to go out to eat an everything but I got sick. Really sick. I had a fever and I tried to stay in bed all day and my head started hurting. I think I even cried because my head hurt so much...

I get a stupid cough every year. But I already had it this year... so why do I have it again? It's a really deep cough. Like a bronchidous kind of cough. It really stinks. I don't want to be like this much longer...

Now that the miles over I feel really relieved. But now I feel I could have done better. A little while after I finished running I wasn't really tired like I usually am. I probably could have walked a little less...

I'm in Ohio, and I'm a sophomore, so that means that I'm taking the Ohio Graduation Test three days this week...the problem with it is it doesn't mean anything...we're guinea pigs for the 9th graders who have to take the test to graduate. I don't mind taking the test (we have an incentive for passing the math part: exemption from math final exams) but the problem is that I was lumped in a room with all the druggies and criminals who don't care about the test at all...one of those kids even caused me to fail an important aptitude test earlier this year because I was forced to sit next to him for three hours while he broke my concentration with his infernal talking, singing, laughing, and even more disgusting stuff which I won't mention...I had to take the OGT today with a room full of them but surprisingly they behaved O_O I don't have anything against them, they can just be distracting and I was really afraid of that.

And in my good news/bad news segment:

Good news: I got a 108 on my Algebra II test

Bad news: Algebra II homework folders are due thursday...and I seem to have not done any homework this quarter o_o (but if I turn in my notes and some stuff that looks like homework I'll get a 90 anyway probably)

So that's what I have to say for now :P

Just feel good that you passed. You probaly did a good job anyway. :)
I don't get sick on holidays but only my b-day. For four stright years.
Speaking of birthdays, 3 more days until your birthday, snowangel. Hope you're ready.

In school today, for English, we read Much Ado About Nothing and the teacher chose who was who in reading the parts. I was Conrade, a guy that worked for the villian of the play. I don't have to say much. :P In band we played our first concert music for our next concert. In math we took notes. In History our student teacher taught us and taught us about Vietnam. He gave each of us a slice of bread that was suppose to symbolize the food soldiers ate and we watched a movie. In Art we worked on whatever we were working on. I drew a picture of a place you would see in Alto Mare from the 5th Pokemon movie "Pokemon Heroes". In Biology our teacher had some fish he caught and showed us their insides. Gross and stinky...

Thanks... I did try to pass. Unlike others in my class. After school my friend told me that she didn't even try because she knew it didn't count. I tried hard to pass. For myslef, and for everyone that supported me and stuff. Yeah, I know it sounds dorky but I did.

Yeah, I know! 3 more days!!! But I will have to walk home in the snow...

I read that in 8th grade. My friend was obsessed with Keanu Reeves. So of course she read the part of the villain. (I don't remember his name) She also liked a certain quote near the end but I wont give anything away. She's a very dramatic person...

Snow? It's snowing in Connecticut right now? :surprised:
Well gym does count....to me atleast. It shows how athletic I am so I try really hard on tests...too bad we don't have that much test.

One time I was very proud of myself in gym. We had to do rope-climbing and I climbed straight to the top without struggling. Other people went to the top also but it looked like they used a lot of strength doing it. Then I tried for extra credit with was that you had to climb to the top with the help of your legs. I sat on an L-shaped and I still climbed up. But I got really tired when I was at the top so I loosened my grip and I slid all the way down. My hand was burning the whole day. But apparently, I was the only one in that school to do that....no kidding. About 2 other people came close but they didn't climb it all the way.

No, it's not snowing yet. Tomorrow it's supposed to snow, like, 6 inches. If we get a delay on Wednesday... we won't have school at all. Which means we will have 4 extra days in June. We already had 3 snow days... actually 2 snow days and one "cold" day. NO MORE SNOW!!!

Gym for me isn't all that important. I'm not really athletic at all. But I do try. I'm not going to blow off the class like some other people. I like to try. Just because the physical fitness doesn't count toward my grade doesn't mean I'm not going to try to pass. I wanted to know if I could really do it. And I did! I passed all 4 tests! That's a first for me...

We haven't done rope-climbing in gym. After I left the elementary school they added a climbing net and a rock wall. They hate my class. In R.O.P.E. in 6th grade we went real rock-climbing. I actually made it all the way to the top too! A lot of people didn't make it all the way before they gave up. I got stuck in one place for a while though. My legs are short so I couldn't reach as far and stuff. But after a while I started to understand what people were trying to tell me and I got to the top.

rock climbing...there's something i havent done but in the 6th grade we got to stay at one of thoes underwater hotel.s

Well umm... let's just hope the weather forecast was wrong. :P
Gym isn't at first that important to me also. But I hate to give up my athletic ability because it'll go to waste. I don't really have to try in gym but when there is something really hard, I try getting the best score I can.

I think the villain's name is Don John. He also has two followers named Conrade and Borachio. We have to read it for 10th grade.

I hope the forecast is wrong... I really don't need nor want to be in school halfway through June...

I may not like gym but I don't want to fail it. Nor do I want to feel like a failure because I know I could have tried harder. Gym teachers basically look for effort. They can't expect everyone to be super-athletic and be good at every sport. But there are people who just don't care at all. Then they wonder why they have to make up classes when they skip and they wonder why they fail when they don't make them up. Gym is either pass or fail so as long as you try you should pass.

Yeah, that's it! Don John. Yup, in the film he was played by Keanu Reeves. We read it in 8th grade so I couldn't remember everything. I know my friend and I had a LOT of inside jokes about that play though...

Exactly. No one in my school ever gotten below a 90 because they all tried. I try to look foward for gym days. It makes days go by faster to me. :P

I hear ya...O_o; I actually want us to have a snow day that way I can take a break from all these musical rehearsals day after day. *faints* I heard, for people that live in northeastern Massachusetts, that we're going to have about 6-10 inches of snow! >_< Ack! Although, every time they predict one of these storms they're wrong and we get nothing but a few inches of slush, lol. You never know! I have a half-day of school tomorrow anyway, so I'm happy enough...!

Yeah, but I live south of Massachusetts and we are supposed to get 6+ inches. The curse of living in New England. We have already had 3 snow days. We don't need more. I don't want a snow day especially on Wednesday because we already have a half day. Making up a full day for a half day would really stink. Plus I walk home when my dad isn't up and lucky me... he's sleeping this week until the end of the week. So if it does snow I have to walk home... and I have a bad cold so I don't want it to get worse.

But, you are right about having lots of storms predicted and only getting flurries and slush. That has happened quite a few times this year already... so hopefully it will happen again...

I don't have PE anymore. It's mandatory that we take one year of PE in my school, so they make you take it in your freshman and sophmore year. You have some dumb class that you take for the other half of each school year.
Hehe....

NO! I don't want it to happen again! I'll just...pray that it doesn't go to Connecticut for you! O_o; I hope it dumps a lot of snow on my town at least, lol. I used to walk home, too...when I was a freshman and sophomore. Now I have the pleasure of driving my own car! I just hope I don't have to taxi around a million people and skid off the road due to cruddy plowing conditions. Moochers...^_^;;

We have a full year of phys ed freshman and sophomore year as well, and then you only have to take a half year of Individual or Team Sports your junior year--if not, your senior year. One way or another you have to take that half-year of gym. Love you dearly, Jordan, for voting for me in MOTM...hate you for not PMing me back. ^_^; Oh, how lucky you are to know me because I dwell on things when I'm mad and don't let it go for a loooooooooooooong time!

I really hate the snow. Snow days are fun when they occur... getting to stay home all day! But in June I start wishing it never snowed at all...

Yeah, I have to walk... but hopefully I will be able to drive... on my own... by the start of junior year. My 16th birthday is on Thursday. But they changed all the laws about driving now so I don't really know when I can drive myself to school...

You guys are lucky... I have to take 4 required years of PE. Well, freshman year I only had to take pool for 2 days a week for a semester. This year it's half a year 3 days a week.

[gasp] Come to think of it...we're actually supposed to get snow here in southern Ohio tonight... 1 inch or more tonight to be exact. I doubt they'll close school though tomorrow...our school rarely closes for snow. They have this thing where they'll close it for a dusting of snow but not for a foot...even when the roads are incredibly slick they still usually don't close school. It snowed a good amount in January and February here but I think we only got 3 snow days out of it when the road conditions were bad enough to keep us out for two weeks...there's approxamately a negative 150% chance of them even considering closing or even delaying tomorrow -.-
