School Chit-Chat

=\ The school board never closes schools here. We've had snow up about 2 feet and school hasn't closed. I haven't had a snow day since I moved here. ~_~ Lol, we used to get them for even 5 inches of snow back in Halifax. xD Although, apparently it's not like that anymore there, either. oO;
 
I never get snow days either. To our school, if the headmaster can make it then we can but his house is right next to the school. How stupid... :\
 
We get a lot less snow here now, now that it's a lot warmer...

Speaking of snow... I got a half day today! They let us out early due to snow or whatever. But it's not snowing yet. Oh, well I won't complain. Not to mention the fact that I have a half day tomorrow and on my birthday! This is going to be a short week...

Woo! I had a half-day today, too, but not because of the snow. It was a faculty meeting or something. It didn't begin to snow here, either; I hope it does soon so I don't have to go to two rehearsals today...O_o; My teachers are so sure that we're not going to have school tomorrow--and that's RARE when they all say that!

Mine was because of the snow that has yet to occur. They had to announce it by my math period if we were getting out early. So I was sitting there bored out of my mind as usual when the principal comes on. He called the seniors down for cap and gown measurements. Everyone booed and was disappointed. Then later he came back on a told us we got to go home at 12:12.

What stunk was that they decided to not cut classes short and just finish off the day with regular length classes. Which in one way was good because my last period class would have been chorus and I still can't sing anyway. But I had to spend the last hour and a half in bio doing nothing...

But at least I didn't have to walk home!

I hate snow days. We have already had 3. If school gets cancelled tomorrow I will end up with 4. I would much prefer a delay... but since tomorrow's a half day anyway they will just cancel. And it's still not snowing...

You should be glad you have your break now anyway though. Mine is April 19th. That's a long ways away...

Yeah, I guess you're right, but right now it is really boring though, but not enough to make me miss school, nothing is enough to make me miss school. =P

I have some homework that I have to do over the break, but I am waiting till later to do it.

It's supposed to be snowing in about an hour or so. The forecast said 3 PM. DUMP SIX INCHES, DUMP SIX INCHES! ^_^;

Yeah, you're lucky you have a break in March, FlamingTorchic...New England has it in February--at least most of New England. We always complain March is the longest month, lol. My break isn't until April 19th, too, snowangel. >_<

So I'm not the only one on PC with an April 19th break! But, yeah we had February vacation already... which probably has something to do with the late spring break...

March in New England is long. The only part of March I look forward to is my birthday. This year we actually have a day off in March though! That's rare.

3 PM huh? So why did we get out early? Oh well... no complaints here! I hope dance gets cancelled tonight. I really don't feel like going. And I don't want school tomorrow, yet I do. I don't want to make up a full day for a half though.

But I have to present my case in our mock-trial tomorrow in civics... and I have yet to start my speech. I'll probably just get another bad grade in that class. What else is new?
 
It rained last night here, and snowed about everywhere else around us -.- there were a lot of school cancellations for places near and above Cincinnati this morning, but nothing where I am V_V

The thing is, even if it snowed I'm not sure they COULD cancel school anyway. Like a month ago they used up our last snow days by tacking them on to our spring break.

Anyway, it's time for today's good news/bad news...

Good News: The day was easy because half the classes were taken up by OGT testing again (day 2 for me as a guniea pig -_- )

Bad News: The classes getting cancelled are causing me to become way behind on my art project, and my teacher is a stickler for getting things in on time (I can't stand my art teacher =/ )

NOOOO! It snowing like crazy now in N.Y. It was about six inches in the afternoon so now it should be around 8 inches. And it's still snowing. :P

*faints* I just got BACK from rehearsal and it's ungodly awful outside with all the snow! SHE'S MAKING US GO BACK AGAIN FOR ANOTHER REHEARSAL TONIGHT!!!!! *screams* I need a nap so bad... ;_; I only have an hour and a half. On the bright side, if there's no school tomorrow, it'll be cancelled. And your b-day is on St. Patty's Day, huh? That's cool, lol. ^_^

Actually by b-day's the day after St. Patrick's day... the 18th. My dad's Irish so he was a little upset about me being born the day after.

It's snowing pretty hard now. And YES! Dance was cancelled! Great... that gives me more time to do my civics speech. For once I think I want it to keep snowing...
