Actually by b-day's the day after St. Patrick's day... the 18th. My dad's Irish so he was a little upset about me being born the day after.

It's snowing pretty hard now. And YES! Dance was cancelled! Great... that gives me more time to do my civics speech. For once I think I want it to keep snowing...
Ooooh, I thought you said your birthday was tomorrow! O_o Anyway, St. Patrick's Day should also be an Italian holiday--let me explain, lol. St. Patrick was Italian...a little-known fact. Unless everyone's been teaching it more nowadays...! Then pirates took him to Ireland and while he was there, he taught the Irish about Christianity. This is where the shamrock comes in. He said that our religion applies to one holy faith (one leaf and stem) but three different sections (The Holy Trinity represented by the three sections of the shamrock). The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. (I think it's only the Catholics that believe this...lol) ANYWAY! I'm not going to go into specific religious stuff...

Lucky! I wish my teacher would cancel ours...>_< She's insane in the membrane!

Oh, okay. Well, I am both Italian and Irish so either way it works for me! Cool I didn;t know the Holy Trinity was represented in a shamrock! I am Catholic... I'll have to bring that up at my sister's CCD class next week.

I am so happy my class got cancelled. I really need to finish... well start and finish... my project. It's actually quite hard to a concluding arguement for a mock trial... I didn't realize it would be this hard...

Oh I hate my school and my school hates me. I fed my school by yonder tree. Everybody who has the same problem sing along! At my school, when we talk at lunch, the vice principal gives referrals about bad behavior and shouts into a microphone that we should shut up when HE'S louder than us!!!!!!! We can't even read books we want to and have to take tests on these books we hate that we're forced to read! We get "points" on tests we take and if we're not at the right percent of our goal at the right time we are not allowed to participate in certain activities. It SOUNDS like I'm exaggerating but I'm NOT!!!!!!!!! :'( :'(

Aww, that's messed up. It stopped snowing. This always happens I always get the opposite of what I want. :'(

What's your project about Snowangel?
Oh that reminds me, I have a science project due Friday.

What? It stopped snowing there? Oh no... please keep snowing. I'd really appreciate a few more days to work on this. I'll have to see if it's still snowing here. It had better be.

My project? Well for civics we are holding a mock trial. My case is about random drug testing in schools. I am on the school's side. I have to write a speech for a concluding arguement for our trial TOMORROW! I have about 5min left on the computer and I have only done about a half page and it had to be about 2 minutes long. This is not good... I'll probably just handwrite the speech tonight... it doesn't say it needs to be typed...

You can read slowly. That way it'll fill up the two minutes. :P
I hope you do good on the project. ;)

Impressive! Hehe.....

You have mock-trials too Snowangel? I usually just watch the whole thing. I add comments sometimes but uh.....I'm shy so it's hard to speak up...
Hope your project goes well! I have full confidence once again!

Cool Chrystie! I had no idea! I should take notes!
*grabs a pencil and puts it behind his ear*
There! Now I look like a studious kid hehe....

My school day:
In English, two girls from Speech (An acting club.) came and did their plays. Then we listened to Much Ado About Nothing, which so far seems to be about nothing. :P Luckily we listened today instead of reading it because otherwise I would of had to read the Conrade parts.

In Band, we played our first song for our next concert again. At the beginning of class, one of my friends gave me his Wind Waker Zelda game to borrow.

In Math, we took more notes.

In History, we got back our tests we took not long ago in which the whole class did bad on. I got a D. We can retake though so I will try to so I can get an A.

In Art, we painted like we do everyday.

In Biology, we had to take a test on frog parts that was worth 100 points. I got 90 out of 100. :P We had to sit at a small table by the teacher and he pointed at parts of a real cut open frog and we had to say what the parts were. I was the third person to go. Everyone else seemed to be too nervous to take it.

In band eh? What instrument do you play?

I didn't take music this year, I have no instrumental talent xP

I play in percussion (drums). One good thing about band is that we get to take a big trip next year. So far it sounds like a cruise in Florida. :D I'm not sure if I should go though because I would be gone from PC for over a week. For about 10 days. I would miss my family too.

Well, today I had to do my speech. Yeah... uh, it went OK. Mine was really bad... I wrote it this morning though. That could be why. Yesterday I couldn't concentrate to write it. Plus what was really unfair was that one of the girls on the opposing side was a senior AND on the debate team! How could I beat that? I am just a shy little sophomore... I don't like arguing with people that I don't know...
And I had to participate. Everyone had to do a case... except for 4 people who were on the panel. They have to write up a paper explaining why they chose a certain side to win. But I am not a good writer at all so I chose a case...

But thanks for your support anyway. I guess it went better than I thought it would. I really wanted no school today... but alas, the snow stopped last night...

*wails* I HATE MY STUPID TOWN! THEY NEVER CALL OFF SCHOOL! It's like suicide out there and they said, "Oh, it isn't too bad outside!" YOU CAN BARELY SEE TWO FEET IN FRONT OF YOU WITH ALL THE WHITE-NESS AROUND! Buttmunches they are...I'm really mad about this, lol. ^_^;; I was so prepared and everything...*sniff* Turns out I did practically nothing in school today anyway! Oh well...Happy St. Patty's Day, m'lads and lassies! (That sounded Scottish, huh, lol?)

My school hadnt have a snow day all winter. My teacher didnt even through us a Christmas Party. We had a math test the day before Christmas Holiday started. We were the only class in the whole school who didnt have a Christmas Party, or a Valentines Party!

OUCH! >.< I forgot to wear green today and I got pinched almost by everyone in my grade. The first 200 pinches didn't hurt but after that it felt like my hand was gonna fall off. I can't believe my hand is still alive. :P

Congrats, snowangel. It's good to hear that you did better than you expected. ;)

I wore green... some people went WAY overboard with it though. With headbands with shamrocks and one of my friends curled her hair and everything...

Thanks... I still don't think I did well. But it went better than expected. Considering I was praying for no school and I ended up writing it this morning instead of last night

*nods* but still it's still pretty good.
I don't think I could've finished the project in one morning.

Interestingly enough, I only got pinched once for not wearing green, and it took the girl three hours to track me down after she informed me I was getting pinched...we don't pinch each other at school...it's sort of considered a grade school thing here. So it's time for the good news/bad news.

Good news: I beat the rest of my history class in a teacher-devised me vs. the class current events game.

Bad news: Somehow a political debate broke out in english and we were at each others' throats by the end of class...I hate it when that happens -.-

Until later,
Chairman Kaga
