School Chit-Chat

Wow...it is a rare occasion where you get such an awesome teacher, I have only had one teacher like that and that was in Gr 6. >.>

I just finished my homework of DOOM! Although, it was pretty easy. =3
Well, it's a good and bad thing. I like having a study hall for a class of course... but on the other hand I really wish I would LEARN something!

Homework of DOOM? Should I even ask? I actually don't have much homework for the fact I don't have school tomorrow! But unfortunately I get to work from 9-5... that's gunna suck. Oh well...

I'm especially lucky because the class that I have that's so easy is 1st period, so basically it's a stress-free time for us to try and get fully awake...I could go on about how easy that class is forever...I think we've watched TV 2 days already this week! o_o;; She also shows us movies all the time...not educational movies, either...just plain old movies...earlier this year she even went so far as to rent Matrix Reloaded! This is the ONLY way to learn...lol...

My class is kinda like that. He doesn't really teacher either. He puts notes on the board and we copy them... 15 minutes of the class. The other 45 minutes are free time! He also lets us eat snacks since we have him right before lunch. I get high As on all his tests too. Once there was one where I actually thought I failed but I got a 97... and he let us fix what we got wrong for 1/2 credit! He also lets us play jeopardy before each test and the winning team gets from 1-10 bonus points. It's an easy class! But the final is made by the science dept. not him so we'll all fail that one...

MY teacher is the opposite. I like the 1/2 credit part. My teacher would give us a zero for not writing the date and class.O_o
Science is so hard for me but I end up getting a 95. My science teacher even brags about me. She says that I'm so smart and all that. That's what made me the smartest kid in the class. I hate that title. I try breaking it but I end up getting an even better grade. It's so wierd.... All I do is go to PC and post day and night and that's the grade I get. :P

I would hate to be labeled as the smartest kid in class... I used to be one of them though. In 8th grade for science people would always ask to copy my homework because they knew I was smart and figured I did it. (which I probably didn't) But anyways... I hate when everyone just assumes I'm going to get every question right or always do really good on tests... cuz that's not always the case.

But then there are those really smart people who argue their point with teachers. Those guys are annoying. They are too smart for their own good...

You get to watch real movies in bio Chairman Kaga? That's not fair. We watch educational stuff but we just talk over it and he doesn't really care. He usually ends up talking to us too!

I feel like sharing a story about last year...

Well, around where I lived, last year our teachers went on a strike the last month and a half of school. So since they were on a strike we pretty much learnt anything new in class, all of it was just things we already learnt earlier in the year. I kept trying to tell my mom that we weren't learning anything new, but she just didn't get it. I don't know how many times I told her "we aren't learning anything new!" but it was very annoying on a count that I had to go to school and sit their and do nothing, there was no reason to even bother. Once they started recording out final report cards marks and stuff, they started their strike. Eventually what I kept saying to my mom sank in and she FINALLY understood and let me stay home, but it was like the 2nd last week of school that she actually understood what I was saying. >.>

I keep thinking about that, and for some reason wanted to tell you guys at PC about it.

A strike? I've heard of it happening but I don't think it's ever happend at our zchool. I bet that waz very interesting though.

I have the "smartest kid" label, but I suppose it doesn't bother me...I derive pleasure for some reason from helping other kids with their work...the label also sort of got kids to stop picking on me (although, ironically, throughout grade school that label was the reason I was hated...) I don't try to rub my label in other kids' faces, though, unlike a lot of the other preppy smart kids in my grade...their arrogance infuriates me...

Yesterday there was only a small amount of students in school. That's because most of the school went to our boys basketball team playing at state in the playoffs. We lost though. The other team (called Mankato) pounded us. It was very sad. I was at school though. Every class was like a study hall where we sat around and tried to fight the urge to fall asleep. :P My first hour (English) only had 5 kids yesterday (Including me). :P
I got loaded with Math and English homework today. History too, but the due date was pushed back for that project.

Continuing what I was saying about my biology teacher, it just got even more awesome today! We had 2-liter bottles of cola, root beer, and we also had cupcakes and popcorn...it was incredible o_o

Today in Algebra II, my normally-nice teacher had to try very hard to restrain his temper after almost the whole class failed a chapter test on logarithms...luckily I got a 104 on that test so I knew I was safe from his wrath if he were to lose it during class...he's one of those teachers that are unfailingly nice, but if you cross him his wrath is horrific. Luckily he hasn't lost it this year, but I hear once he gets started he can't be stopped...

I also got my report card today...here's what I got:

Biology 1 CP: 100
Spanish II: 100
Animation: 96
Algebra II: 100
Honors English 10: 100
World History: 100

And even though I didn't get a 100 in Animation, I still got a 4.0 because I had over a 100 in some of my other classes...it just doesn't show up on my report card...and even though I've tried so hard this year, my cumulative grade from 9th grade to the present is only 3.767...I thought after a 3.97 and two 4.0s this year it would have risen, but it's only gone up less than a point, I believe...I sure did dig myself into a hole by slacking off last year (or was it just that Geometry killed me?)

So besides that, here's today's good news/bad news:

Good news: Just two weeks to spring break now...

Bad news: More debating in english again, which accomplished nothing except polarizing the class and almost inciting a riot in the middle of class (no exaggeration...)

Yeah my classmates copy me also. Not just in homeworks but in tests also. I try hiding my answers but I can't because everyone is copying off me in both sides.

The most worst part is when you forgot to give in one h.w. the whole class would gasp because you didn't do it. It was so humiliating..

I'm no where near the zmartezt perzon...unlezz big teztz like Gate and Map count <.< I alwayz get extremely high zcorez on thoze but my homework iz completely differant-_-' I get fair gradez but if I didn't have the threat of lozing my zpot on Student Council and the vollyball team I would probably be getting a lot more C'z. Even though I already do get them quite a bit-_-'''
I don't cheat off of other people, but in zome of my zcience teztz I have to lizt alot of ztagez in order zo I...write little reminderz under my wrizt band 0.o I'm bad, I know :.:

I chet all the time...as the the video says"If i dident chet in highschool i would have never become a doctor...hey i could barley pass my entrece exam"

You Guys never use the Cheat Sheet(TM) (Sold @ your local Northeast End of Cafeteria) ? You guys should lol.. I never cheated off a cheat sheet... Cell phone is different :)... It was only once and im not doing it again.. STUPID CONSEQUENCES!!!

I have never heard of the word cheating in my life.
And what ever that means I never did it. :P
*writes answers on his hand and copys them in the test*
I uhhh. no one so that. :paranoid:

In 8th grade I was really good at Spanish (the top 2 in my class) and at the end of the year I got an award from my teacher. This one guy in my class was like WOW I should've sat next to you! (BTW: he sat behind me!) I hate when people want to cheat off of me... I'm not really that samrt anymore. I used to be but now I'm just not anymore.

Last year for one of the earth science classes the teacher gave his students a study guide for the final... word for word! Then for his tests he would leave the answer key right in front of the students! And I don't think he knew it either... but I don't cheat on tests... Exept! for spanish last year... but that doesn't count!

I had no school today! But I worked from 9- 5:15. It actually wasn't as bad as I thought it would be...

*is curious* How much were you paid?

I just hate it when we have a pop quiz and the first thing everyone would do is pick up their bookbags and struggle to see who sits next to me. The worse thing is that my friend envies me because he pretends he's smarter than me but he isn't.

There's only good thing is that I have respect from everyone. Good and bad people give me respect. That's probaly because I respect everyone also. But it's the oposite of my friend he gets beat up and cursed everyone. I'm probaly the only person that respects him in our school.

Well... today I got my first paycheck (even though I had only worked 2 days...) but I got $30 for the 5 hours and 15 minutes I had worked... and they asked me to go in to work tomorrow! Saturday! I refused... plus I teach CCD for community service for civics and my cousins are coming over and I'm (hopefully) getting my permit! and I want to come online at some point... there's just no way I'm going to work...

People used to try to cheat off me... in elementary and middle school when I used to be pretty smart. Now in all my classes I'm with a whole bunch of people who are smarter than me so I don't feel as smart anymore...

But I did hate when people would assume I would get good grades... cuz then I get a bad grade and everyone freaks out! They'd all be like... Ooh! She got a bad grade! and would make it known when I don't think it's that big a deal...

Today was another regular school day for me. I got Math, English, and History homework. It always feels like I have 2 hours of Art class in a row. XD That's because I have Art for one period, and Biology the next, and most of the time we're coloring pictures of animals. XD Today we cut out pictures of Pteridactyl bones and we had to glue them together on a paper. We have to color it and label it too. It's rare when we disect now. :P

Yeah even teachers will do that. Whenever I get a test or a h.w. back, I feel nervous because if I don't get a good grade, they will continue on blabbing like "I'm surprised at you Andy. I know you could have done better". Even if I get less than an A, they will do that.
