XD; It does. It's not quite as crazy old as I'm making it out to be. I mean, camera phones were around when I got it but getting a model with a camera would've been an extra $100. 8| But yeah, it texts and has a colour (albeit small) screen.

Dude texting's ancient. :( Even my first cell phone did that and I got that one in 2001.

Well my teacher's phone doesn't text.

Uhm, decent chunkerr. I don't care about it anymore, cause it's got scratchs and a few bumps and dents. It's still okay though, and I like how I've seen less than 3 people having the same phone as me during the time I had it. It's gonna be 2 years old in the summerr.

I hate my phone. So much. I always feel inferior when there's a bunch of my classmates listening to their latest ringtones and I'm looking at my mobile knowing that it doesn't even support polyphonic ringtones, let alone the quality songs my friends are listening to. In fairness though, I only need a phone for calling and texting so my current one will suffice for another couple of months or years.

I LOVE THAT FONE.

Samsung Instinct. It was sophisticated enough for about the first month that I owned it but then it became dull. It does everything I need it to do, though. The only reason I do not own an iPhone is because a 16GB just won't cut it for me. I will purchase one the second a 32GB or larger is released, which will probably be awhile, unfortunately.

Since everyone here has gone and gotten a phone at some point, could any of you tell me if there still exist phones for sale that are relatively large (and with some weight about themselves) and act only as a phone? None of this music, camera, games and so forth.

I've had my phone for two years and it has I don't know how many scratches after all the times I've dropped it. It's a Nokia 6234.

You could probably still find some, try looking for the cheapest phones in shops in your area. Though I'd imagine it would be a lot harder to find those phones now, with most cheap phones coming with a basic camera and MP3 function.

I just got this new phone:

Nice large colorful touchscreen display. Very smooth design. I got a good contract for a lot of texts. Not only is the music player good but video that supports all the formats I need it to. Makes a great Phone/Mp3 player/Camera.

Looks like I'm in with my not so great phone which I got in 2007 in April but I hardly use It and I deleted like 32 songs and I only have 3 songs now which is pretty suckish If you ask me.

It's a Samsung SGH-C417. It's not the best, but with how little I use it, it works great. Mine's been dropped quite a bit...on concrete and everything. I'm amazed it still works.

Here are my phones. The Muse (the one on the far right) is my latest one. And yes, I keep all of my old phones. Absent from this picture is my Samsung Hue (SCH-R500), because I am letting my brother use it until he gets his own phone.

A little fact: All of my phones up until the Motorola E815 have been pay as you go. The Motorola C168 was a temporary replacement until my E815 was recovered.

It doesn't have a camera but I don't need one. Its got 4GB of internal memory which is really useful. I have my entire library on it.
