Signature Rules & Check Thread

Hi! It's been a long time since I've used CSS on my signature. I'd like to check if Milo here isn't breaking the rules. :)

edit: Removed the CSS and used a plain image for now. It looks better on mobile this way.

Trying to upload a signature with no luck, either it doesn't even load... or it just errors out. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

probably best for you to use an image sharing site like imgur and grab the BBcode preset they give you for it.

That's what I used (I only use imgur). Used the BBcode preset as well and it threw me those errors. Uploaded them into a post using the code here just fine, it just doesn't work in the signature section.

Here's what I used:

[ IMG ] [url]https://i.imgur.com/mTSXc4r.png[/url] [ /IMG ] (this one showed up... but not in my signature field, only in the preview)

Also used this: [url]https://i.imgur.com/mTSXc4r.png[/url] (meaning uploading straight from an imgur link, and when I did so, it threw me image errors)

(The error image came from Twitter, I took a screen shot of it and was planning on using it as a joke.)


Update: Now it went through. So the second way is how to get it to work.


Oddly though, it doesn't show up on all boards, even in some boards where I can see other people's signatures just fine.

You are using the wrong code. [SIGPIC][/SIGPIC] is used only if you uploaded your signature image to the site itself. In the case of the imgur link, you would use the same BB Code in your signature that you would in posts.

That didn't work for me. I used the former and that's what did the trick for me, as I wasn't uploading straight from my PC.

I did it via just the URL, via Option 1 - Enter the URL to the Image on Another Website and then I used Insert Signature Picture afterwards.

Is my current signature too wide? There's 6 small images put together but I tried to make it within the size limits. I can easily change it if need be though so no worries.
