Yes, the spelling error in the title was intentionally made.

Well the question is: When browsing through threads you've posted to in recently, do you often like to edit posts because you've noticed a mistake you've made?

I seem to do it all the time and I hate it when I see any imperfections in my posts. What bug me even more is when I see that someone has quoted my post that has the mistake because there's proof that I did make the mistake. XD

I usually notice any typos or errors once I submit my post and give it a glance over, but I don't always catch them. If someone points it out or I notice it fairly quickly, I'll edit, but if it's months or years later that I notice the typo (yes, years XD), then I'll just leave it.

I'll always correct my mistakes, if I make any. I like to think I have excellent grmmar anyways. It's the people that couldn't care less who annoy me.

Yes, I do. Actually, if I remember having made a mistake when I shut down the computer, I spend all the night worried thinking that anyone could have seen it.

lol you all have typos in your posts :P:P I'm sure you'll fix them anyway :DI thought I was the only one that did that :P lol. I'm a perfectionist, so I always fix my typos, I even have a spell-checker plug-in for my Firefox so I can spot mistake easily :)

I usually correct mine, since the some of the typos I make seem to make the whole sentence unreadable and actually require a few read-overs to understand.

Yes, every mistake I see. And I also like correcting others, too, but that's another story...

    Your godly mod powers~

Well I'm not very good with grammar and spelling. I try to post neat and tidily but I have never got use to typing correctly.

I would correct every mistake I make but that would take a couple of years =p so I am saying no. But I will check my post before I post it.

If it's minor and the conversation is moving at a rapid-fire pace, I'm less likely to go back in fix it until things have calmed (given I remember it). If I notice mistakes while reviewing older posts, I will often go and edit them, especially if it's very strange.

I usually don't mind having my typos pointed out; in fact, I appreciate it. I like having tidy posts. If it seems appropriate, I'll point out errors to others without much thought.

Of course, once we get off of forums, IMs, and even LJ, I'm quite finicky when I'm at my peak. I try to hone it and use my attitude to tear resumes apart and finesse my own writing. (Or that of those who've asked for my editing.)

I wish I could say my writing is always clean and crisp all the time. That would be so nice. X3 I've made plenty of slip-ups and let mistakes slide. Sometimes, I've worked on something for so long that I have to step away, and when I look it back over, I notice all these silly typos and there will be random words missing or sentences only half finished.

As much as my poor writing pains me, I love to read it over and wonder what I was thinking. (Oh, during NaNo, it was insane. I would be writing so late at night and resume in the morning and not have a bloody clue what I was trying to say.)

I think I've rambled slightly off-topic, but while I'm no "Nazi," I'm certainly attentive to words and their proper usuage. :3

If I make a mistake and I see it or am told about it then I will go and edit it out.

I find myself editing posts all the time o_O Although it's usually to clarify myself better, not for typos. I do fix typos, though, if I see them.

It isn't a matter of "like," but a matter of "will."

I read over my posts multiple times before submitting them, and even as I type. No matter the error, whether it be due to typing fast or simply hitting the wrong key, I will fix it immediately. On the rare, once-in-a-blue-moon occasion that I miss something, I won't hesitate to go right back in and fix it. Do I like having to correct myself? Of course I don't.

My rule of thumb is to type the way I talk. That means no cursing, no major "l33tspeak," and no spelling errors.

Yes, I usually quickly edit the post if I have seen a grammatical error. I just hate looking stupid from making stupid little mistakes.

I don't always check over what I write but when I do I have to fix typo's...if there are any. :)
