Speaking of Meta Knight, has anyone seen this comparison video?

Spoiler:
That explains a lot. I was playing with Meta Knight the other day and was having more trouble than I felt I should've. Seems that they cut his range down to something shorter than the length of his blade. Which is a bit annoying, considering it looks like the attack hits when it really doesn't.

Surprised Kirby didn't make that list. Chatting with some folks, we agree that Kirby's current movelist makes him one of the better characters to use. He's always been my main through good and bad arrangements.
Far from it. The character's best options are still a gamble, and he got nerfed in several key aspects like his grab game, reach and damage output. His air game is still crap and he's even lighter. He's faster at least.

His air game involves kicking other fighters. Yes, this might not compare to a sword of a properly executed fighter, but I recall kicking one Charizard five times in a row to get him out, and I've used Kirby's Up-A in mid-air to kick opponents above the area and out.

A well-played Kirby can counter many of those on your list. The only weakness, I think, is anything with a sword. I have problems against Link and, as noted, had problems when I unlocked Lucina. The latter gave me something to improve my game against; I now shield in a better fashion in battle and can survive longer to have more chances to steal a win. Heck, I took an opponent in a tournament to 140% apiece before he smashed me out; Kirby will always be my main, and I will have some cool battles with him, though I am practicing others for variety.

Aside from Rosalina, my best characters tend to have counter-attacks. I'll admit, I abuse them. Rosalina doesn't really need one given her shield/offensive weapon luma.

In that respect, maybe palutena shouldn't be at the end of my list, but she's definitely the least viable counter attacker...Hmm, I guess her poor ranking has to do with disappointment, but she is middle lower of the pack as far as how effective I am at using her.

Anyone else obsessed with greninja's shadow sneak? Given his quick movements and accesse to quick attacks and counter, with decent knock back, AND a great projectile...he has become an easy choice for a main.

Best Character Super Smash Bros 4 For 3DS

I just got Super Smash Bros 4 for 3DS and I have just finished unlocking all characters. I really love so many of them and cannot decide which one I want to main; I know I could just use them all, but I want one main one. When I say best I mean the most: fun, best in battle, and unique. Please if you would take this poll to help me decide which character to main and which character is the best. Also, please comment why you chose the character you, either chose in depth or just a simple answer.
Thank you for participating in this survey!

I'm apparently the only one who doesn't find Rosalina that useful/threatening, and my main is charizard. Am I just using/fighting her wrong?

In fact, I seem to have the opposite problem with charizard and Palutena.

Still Looking for a Main.

Tried Wii Fit Trainer. Love his Special, but his Smashes are so narrow. I like attacks that have range or move toward the opponent.

I figured out that Duck Hunt's Side Special does more damage when you press B again. Didn't know that before. Now I like him even more. He has the most unique controls on his special moves.

There are just so many good characters!!!

I think it kinda depends on your own playstyle. Depending on how you play, some characters just might not seem threatening while others give you a hard time. A lot of people say that Palutena isn't very good/she isn't hard to fight, but then you have people like Dragon who're pretty good with her. And sometimes what characters you use has something to do with it too; some fare better against certain fighters. Like it's probably generally a bit harder for Samus to fight Fox because Fox is fast and has that Reflector. So maybe there's just something about Charizard and/or the way you play that makes Rosalina not a threat.

This is very true.

Because of the way I play, my weakness is Zelda. Very rarely can I beat a Zelda, CPU or human player. My "main" main is Samus, and I'm working on ways that I can properly fight Fox. Shulk and Duck Hunt Dog are my newest mains, and I have hard times fighting against Marth or Lucina with them.

And I guess that's the reason I don't really like Palutena, because she doesn't fit my playstyle.

Just keep trying out every character until you find one that suits the way you play. Take me for example, I've found that I prefer characters with long reach and good air game while still being potent on the ground, which is why I main Samus and Luigi. I may actually try maining Falco for this very reason as well. xD

I don't know if anyone else here noticed this regarding Greninja's Final Smash. I noticed that it looks kind of similar to Spiderman's Ultimate Spider Hyper Combo in Marvel vs Capcom 3 Fate of Two Worlds.

As for characters that I use for my mains, they are the ones I tend to use the most. Which for me, that happens to be Samus and Greninja.

Yeah during the invitational tournament at e3, one of the commentators shouted Ultimate Spider when Greninja pulled off the final smash.

There are some characters who are at a disadvantage against others, which is common in fighting games. Your Charizard just happens to be one of Rosalina's counters.

Anyway, here's a hilarous petition that caught the Smash community's attention regarding Smash Bros. coming to the PS Vita.

Sometimes I'm pro-human extinction. >.>

Yeah my Luigi is usually a good counter for all the characters that my Pikachu has trouble with.

Charizard in general has the tools to beat out scrub tactics, and scrub Rosalinas abuse those tactics especially.

A good Rosalina on the other hand can and will give Charizard trouble, in my head anyway. I'm using Charizard now, and I haven't faced a good Rosalina yet to know the match up.

Hm, this was unintentional but, I think my Robin is better than my Palutena, which I plan to use as a main. I just find her easier to combo with her Side B in which you can run and do a Up Smash, which her Levin Sword makes it really powerful.

Does anyone have any extra tips for Palutena? All I know so far is her Jab + Down-Throw combos, and her Teleport-Edge cancel.

I'm still getting used to playing something like Super Smash Bros., and I think I'm going to end up maining Lucina after managing to unlock her. For some reason, she feels...comfy and easy to use pretty straightforward to me after spending some time with her.
