Well, that was something. Wow.
Well that's a relief; there's still hope for a Rhythm Heaven rep taking the second slot from the Wii U CSS.

Dixie would almost certainly be a Diddy clone that uses her hair to grab and recover.
Jigglypuff share similar A moves to Kirby, but does that make her a clone? Plus other non-clone characters share similar animation moves from other characters.

K. Rool could be nice, but they'd have to make sure he isn't just Dedede without a hammer or a reskinned DK.
Clearly you have no seen him in action from the Donkey Kong games he's appeared in. He's got a large set of tools that could potentially make him unique such as his Blunderbuss.

It isn't over yet, there are still things missing as well ubisoft's statement and nintendo's investor meeting tuesday..

But Jigglypuff isn't just Kirby with long hair. Sure, they look similar, but Diddy and Dixie are basically the exact same aside from gender and recovery ability.

As does Dark Pit, who could have used things like his staff, violet palm, and the EZ Cannon, but he was a clone.

I'm not saying K. Rool couldn't be a non-clone, just that it seems unfortunately likely to me. I'd love it if they had him and made him unique.

Do omega stages count as final destination for Wii U?
Because in my records, it says that my most played stage is Final Destination yet I spent most of my time in Halberd or the Mega Man stage in their omega forms.

And in the 3DS version, I played Mute City and the Game Boy stage in omega form a bunch of times and it said my most played stage is Mute City, not Final Destination. Just wondering if it was a Wii U thing.

If I remember the original statement when they announced omega stages, they said they were the final destination equal of normal stages. So instead of having the same FD stage, you could get a different type of scenery when having your 'For Glory' matches. Long story short; yes, they do count.

2/17/15 EDIT: So this is something. I dove into my Smash 4's WiiU Disk Data along with patch stuff and I found some music that is unused (and going to be used later) like the Miiverse stage that is coming and guess what song I found with it that is connected to the temp. data.

Nintendo actually remembered this game. It makes me happy inside.

This is somewhat old news, but yes, this music will be played on the Miiverse stage, including the Tomodachi Life and Find Mii music from the 3DS version. The music is also quite fitting for the stage's theme, due to the nicely drawn Miiverse posts.

I didn't know about the miiverse stage or anything about it til recently, so that is nice. I am curious about the other rumors of a possible Doctor Mario stage. I would be nice for him to have one since the uncompleted files are there.

Did they make the CPUs better or is it just that I haven't fought them in a while?

Also I still don't know any combos with Robin or Lucina ;_;

On which version, I've noticed on the WiiU version that yeah, there has been some character and CPU tweaking in the patches. 3DS is really present with (5-6 patches by now) all the updates.

The combos I know with Lucina are running slash attacks; time your running + A to keep juggling the opponent, then you have your grab, throw down and then up air to launch them up and off the stage. You also have your classic, double jump and then counter when your foe tries to launch you up with an air up. Just some ideas.

I don't play Robin as much as I should.

Yes, the lasting patch bufed cpu's. Each level plays roughly 3 higher than before it seems.

So this morning, I was playing with my Peach Amiibo and they must of buffed them as well. She is level 50, and I put her against 5 Lv.9 Reds on Omega Mushroom Kingdom U. These characters were her opponents.

Mario = Balance
Bowser = Raw Power
Pikachu = Range/Speed
Link = Power/Range
Kirby = That Wildcard

After one, seven minute Smash, my Peach Amiibo 'Lylia' had ranked up 49 KOs and 4 Falls. That is a 45/4 ratio and that is amazing. Only Pikachu [1], Bowser [2], and Link [1] were able to get KOs on her because of the timing. Overall, it was amazing to watch and my question is, have you trained and fed your amiibo(s) and then put them in a situation like this out of curiosity, just to see them win or lose? What was your results?

I still find level 5-8 CPUs pretty easy. 9 is still a challenge though.

...And did anyone notice that in the notes they said "Gameplay Fixes"? This leads me to believe what I expected in the first place: The "Advanced Techniques" were actually bugs. Though, I could be wrong on that.

What do you mean by "Advanced Techniques" though? Part of the update did remove Greninja's running Shadow Sneak thing and a couple of other things I don't remember.

Here is a small list.

- Kirby's Floating Silver Bow trick fixed
- Bomb Cancelling fixed
- Turnip cancelling fixed
- Rolling has less animation frames and reduced distance.
- Yoshi Teleport is fixed(removed)
- Pivot Cancelling/Turndashing fixed
- Wectoring is removed
- Ness's Down Throw nerfed from 9% to 7%
- Diddy Kong's attacks have a 1-5% damage reduction now.

And there is a LOT more.

EDIT: My friend on skype showed me this and I laughed so hard.

Wow, I could've sworn that it was already out. I guess I've been listening to some pretty high quality rips, then. Regardless, I'd still be interested in getting a hold of the official product.
