+ Got the Potion from PC.
+ Saved Prof. Birch from Poochyena.
+ Defeated Brendan.
+ Done a little grinding to capture Ralts.
+ Captured Ralts and named her Rydia, I also gave her the Premier Ball.
+ Gone through Route 104, and Petalberg Woods to enter Rustboro City.
+ Defeated Magma Grunt.
+ Went to Route 116 to do some....

OK, so my cartridge decided it was fed up with working properly and deleted my first save >:(. I have started again and so far have:

Quick question: Do we basically have free rein when it comes to trading? As in, could I trade a level 5 Cacnea, Spheal and Trapinch over from my Sapphire version right now? Or would that make the game a bit easy?

You can trade whatever whenever you feel like. Whatever's easier for you.

Got to Pewter City.
Grinding...
Green grew to level 8.

Challenging Brock...
Green grew to level 14.
F.T.A Got the BoulderBadge!
Went to Mt. Moon.
Challenging Team Rocket at Mt. Moon...
Green grew to level 15.
Green grew to level 16, and evolved into Ivysaur.
Green grew to level 17.
Green grew to level 18.
Green grew to level 19.
Green grew to level 20.
F.T.A obtained the Dome Fossil!
Got out of Mt. Moon.
Went to Cerulean City and challenged Misty (After healing).
Green grew to level 21.
Green grew to level 22, and learned Poison Powder.

Yeah, Red and Green are the only games where that can't happen. That's why the rule says "if possible" haha. So you kinda luck out there if you're on Red/Green.

+ Went through Granite Cave.
+ Defeated Brawly for the Knuckle Badge.
+ Headed to Slateport City and Route 110.
+ Captured Oddish and named her Flora. (I'm gender strict, mind you)
+ Defeated 2 grunts from Team Magma.
+ Defeated Brendan the second time.

+ Ralts evolved into Kirlia, and Oddish evolved into Gloom

• Got into Pinwheel Forest and caught Holly the Charmander,
• Holly evolved into Charmeleon!
• Cleared out Pinwheel Forest of Team Plasma and recovered the Dragon Skull.
• MAde my way to Castelia City, where I quickly disposed of Burgh with Holly.
• Beat Bianca and Cheren, then caught Prickle the Maractus in the Desert Resort.
• Beat all the trainers I could find, then headed for Nimbasa City.
• Battled some more trainers, then beat N at the park.
• Took on the gym, and beat Elesa with Holly (Dragon Rage) and Prickle (Giga Drain).
• Saved on Route 5.

Woo! Got the Emblem requirement, still going to finish the event.

Chillin in the Mansion, training up my Pokemon. I was pretty much exclusively training Nidorino, so I could evolve him (now that I think about it, no idea why I waited on Double Kick.) Haven't beaten Sabrina yet.

Lv. 50 Nidoking: Ice Beam, Double Kick, Horn Attack, Bubblebeam
Lv. 39 Charizard: Ember, Strength, Dig, Slash
Lv. 31 Farfetch'd: Fly, Swords Dance, Cut, Sand Attack
Lv. 26 Lapras: Surf, Psychic, Thunderbolt, Sing

Just need to go get Rock Slide and Earthquake for Nidoking, Lv. to Flamethrower for Charizard, and Lv. to Ice Beam for Lapras. By far the most grinding I will ever have done in my life.

Also, Syd, does "the challenge is over after you beat the elite four for the first time" count for Silver too? If I finish this on Red god forbid then I might do it on Silver too.

Third update time!

• Grinded Kaori to level 9.
• Got bored grinding so used Kaori to fight Team Galactic on the honey field.
• Kaori did well so used him to fight Team Galactic in the Valley Windworks. (I love growl <3)
• Had to use Greg to fight Purugly, too strong for Kaori to kill alone.
• Laughed at the girl's stinky father.
• Went forward in time to Friday and reset several times to catch a female Drifloon.
• Nicknamed Drifloon Saerith after a good friend from Trade Corner.
• Gave Saerith honey to hold because its the most present-like item I could find.
• Did some more grinding with Kaori up to level 17.
• Started to go through Eterna Forest with Cheryl and trained a bit there too.

Also, it just hit me that I completely forgot to use my 9 Rare Candies. That should have been even easier.

In hindsight, this is a very very normal team of mine. In fact, it could be the exact same lineup that I would use for a Duo Chalenge on Blue. Except Farfetch'd and Lapras would be lv. 3 and 15, respectively.
