    I know it's too early to be talking teams for the game since Pok?mon are not yet announced.


    But, I'm sure you have Pok?mon in your mind you are excited to try out especially during this game. So who are those Pok?mon?


    I've been honestly wanting to try Toucannon and A-Sandslash so I hope I get to use it during this games.
     
    might try going without a starter at all this time. I had both Decidueye and Primarina for the majority of the main storyline and nabbed Incineroar after the E4, so maybe it's time to try something new.
    besides that idk. waiting to hear if there are new alolan forms for me to build my team around.
     
    Primarina is pretty much my Alola mascot, so it needs to be on the team. I do also plan to continue my tradition of a Grass/Fire/Water trio that the starter occupies one of the slots in. My other three slots will probably go to wildcards that can deliver good coverage, though I like to see the options before making my final choice.
     
    I'm glad there were so many new Pokemon from Alola that I still to try (including Alolan forms), because this means I can now use the ones I haven't yet used in USM. Some that spring to mind are Dhelmise, Toxapex, Vikavolt, Shiinotic, A-Marowak, A-Muk. Hopefully, for the case of Vikavolt, final evolutions will be accessible much earlier in the game rather than on the very last island almost to the end of the game. That's what put me off using it in the first place tbh.
     
    Ah! It has been ages since I did a solo run (last I remember, it was on crystal five years ago). Might try it this time with Decidueye.
     
    Litten and A-Vulpix I will for sure use, otherwise I'm not completely sure yet. I will continue only using new Pokemon for sure and I'll try to keep it to ones I havent used yet, maybe Dhelmise? Except for maybe Lycanroc midday, I love that wolf
     
    I really have no idea. I never plan teams out when playing a pok?mon game for the very first time, I just collect them as I go c: Surely Primarina though <3 And Lunala whenever i get my hands on it.
     
    Let's say, for whatever reason, the Pokedex selection is still the same.

    Decidueye
    Salamence
    Marowak
    Whiscash
    Togedemaru
    Sylveon
     
    I would use Primarina this time since I've had done with the other 2.
    Since I don't use legendary (And Mythical) and since this is a sequel I would love to combine Pokemon from older generation in this time.
    Probably trying out Alolan Marowak.
     
    Can't say much as of now but I do know I'll use Primarina as my starter and I'll add Lycanroc midday form. To consider are Rimombee, Toucannon, Kommo-o, A-Raichu and A-Sandlash. That is unless there will be some awesome new Alola forms...
     
    This time, I'm hoping I can pull a B2W2 where I boxed my starter and replaced it with a level 5 Vaporeon, but this time with a level 5 Dhelmise I transfer. I'd get another Popplio, but it just wouldn't be as fun--no Primarina can replace my Wallace. (from the first pokemon moon.)

    As for the rest of my team, it's practically going to be the same as the last game. Alola Exeggutor, Palossand, probably Wishiwashi, except this time I'm going to have Necrozma and also Shiinotic, which I felt like I missed out using last game.
     
    I still haven't managed to beat Sun or Moon yet, but since I have them both physical and digital I may throw one of the Eeveelutions on each of my teams there and use the other four for US/UM. Beyond that, I'm not really sure. I'm not a fan of reusing Pokemon and these games already have a not especially great selection of Pokemon as it is.

    We don't know the updated regional Dex yet, but it is going to be expanded with previous-gen Pokemon that didn't appear in the original Alola Dex.
     
    Well I'm picking Primarina as I went with Decidueye before. I'm also seriously considering Mimikyu because it just missed out on my team the first time around. Though Dhelmise may be a better pick since there's no type overlap and I really want to use it.

    After that it'll depend on what new (old) pokemon they add to the region.
