Anime Contract Challenge

Are you an avid anime fan? Do you like to share? Do you want to force people to watch your favourite series? Do you like fun? If any of those things sound even a little applicable this is probably the event for you!

This is a simple and fun way to broaden your horizons and start talking to new people. At the beginning of each month, you simply post here to say you want to join in and then we'll randomly match you up with a partner. You each then select an anime series for the other to watch.

At the end of the month, you post here sharing how many episodes in you got, how much you enjoyed it, any thoughts on the series, if you intend to continue watching and if you'd recommend it to the other participants. Then, we open up sign-ups for the next month and generate new pairings to start again.

You're under no pressure to complete the series (or to enjoy it actually) and can watch as much or as little as you like, although I'd encourage you to get as far as you can. To join in you simply need to post in here saying you want to participate and maybe share a bit about the genres/themes you particularly like or dislike to make your partners' jobs easier. Sign-ups will be open for about a week before we get started.

We should probably ask people to post their lists from anime cataloguing sites like MAL, Hummingbird, AniDB, AniList, or whatever other cataloguing sites there are out there.
