The Best Game You've Never Played

Given how much content there is out there of game playthroughs, there's bound to be games out there you have experienced in their entirety without ever actually playing yourself. So I thought it would be interesting to hear what games people really like, but have never actually experienced as a player. Why haven't you gone back and played that game yourself?

TLoU2. I played the first one, loved the story, hated how the game felt. So for the second game I just watched some playthroughs.

Edgeworth Investigations 2. I watched the fan translation many years before it was finally officially released outside of Japan as part of a collection with the first game. I probably won't play it myself because I already have one of the two games in the collection and already know what happens in both games.

The majority of the Legend of Zelda series.

I have always considered myself a fan of the series. Even played a few games (LoZ, LA, LttP, OoA, OoS, WW, PH, TP). But at some point, I just stop playing them and never get back to it (with one exception that I plan to getting to years down the line). I still want to know what goes on, though, so I have a lot of no-commentary gameplay videos to make my way through.

really makes me think of the "don't mess with us persona 5 fans, we've never even played the game" memes...

[PokeCommunity.com] The Best Game You've Never Played

This is a tough one, because usually something like that is a good incentive for me to actually get into playing the game(s) myself. For several years now I've kinda had this love for going back and playing games I've known or heard about but never played. Lots of stuff from my childhood I saw friends or family members play, or that I played or heard about and never got around to finish. Included stuff like Monkey Ball Deluxe, the FF13 trilogy, both Jet Set Radio games, the Mega Man X series, most 2D Metroid games, and Pikmin.
But I think my actual answer would be most of the Mario Party games? They're such good entertainment and some of my favourite playlists on YouTube are Mario Party playthroughs, but I've barely actually played any of the games firsthand myself because... I'm not particularly thrilled to play them singleplayer and I've never felt like I needed to? I'm very familiar with any Mario Party from 1-8, though 1, 7, and 8 are the only ones I've actually played at least one full game of.

To answer my own question, 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim. The art is gorgeous, the mechanics seem cool, the music is really good and the story and characters are fantastic. I'd actually like to play it eventually. But it's both expensive and long and I am short on both money and time, so we'll see if I ever get around to it.
