You know what, I'm going to vote Caterpie up. After all, it's cute and there are worse Pokemon out there.

As for the games, I prefer to play with music. However, there's one Pokemon soundtrack that I hate. That is the Goldenrod City music in HG/SS. I love the original Goldenrod music from GSC, though.

Did I really just see classic vote up a cute Pokémon? Well I never thought I'd see the day... Looks like Caterpie is safe, on to Metapod :D

Mm, and given its stats/move pool I really don't think Metapod has any redeeming features. XD

Kakuna is pretty cool but I'm not a fan of the line just because of Beedrill, I find it scary :( As far as Bug-types are concerned I like a fair few of them, but I can't think of many to list right now. I'll have a go in a future post haha.

I really liked Beedrill as a kid, simply because of its design. But at some point in my life, it fell out of my favour. However, when Mega Beedrill came, Beedrill was officially redeemed for me. I hope we get a Mega Butterfree in the future.

Metapod looks like a pickle.

I hope we get a Mega Butterfree too. I was never a fan of Beedrill, and I'm still not, because I just plainly don't like bees/wasps/hornets. I don't like butterflies in real life, but I do love Butterfree. Beautifly not so much.

Mega Butterfree would be a great concept, but I can't begin to imagine how it'd look. Maybe give it steel plating and turn it into a battle bug? :p

It would only be fair for Butterfree to receive a Mega Evolution since Beedrill got one. Same goes for Slowking, although I wouldn't really be too bothered for a Mega Slowking.

The main Pokémon I was surprised didn't get one was Magmortar (and Electivire!), they seemed like really obvious choices given they're such iconic and naturally powerful lines. Didn't expect things like Houndour or Beedrill, that's for sure.

Holy crap, what happened to Metapod when I was gone? O_O Anyways, I think a Mega Pikachu would be fair due to Mega Slowbro's existence.

Mega Pikachu is the only non-fully evolved mega Pokémon I'd ever expect to see - Gamefreak seem fond of the little rodent haha.

To be fair, seeing Ash use a Mega Pikachu at the end of XY would be infinitely better for the plot than seeing him use Mega Charizard.

Has mega Charizard been in the anime yet or is it still speculation? I've not been keeping up!
