The Count To Infinity - v12

We've been getting snow less and less for years now. A 'white Christmas' basically doesn't really happen anymore here.

That's surprising. I always associated The Netherlands with Denmark/the Nordics and assumed they got lots of snow during winter. That's climate change for you. btw, do you happen to live in the south near Belgium and Germany? I'd imagine the temperatures would be a bit higher over there since it's closer to the equator.

My parents got snow in my hometown, while here we got nothing at all, despite being much more in the North and being cold. Back at home, during Christmas we never get snow (but it's often sunny) which is kinda strange, especially when in the movies, ads and stuff it always snows lol

There might be a little amount of snow that falls during December, but it's usually a very thin layer that's gone within an hour once the sun shows up.
Actual snow that will lie for the entire day and keep the ground white is pretty much not until the second half of January where I live.

The Northern most part and the East of the Netherlands usually gets snow far earlier than where I live.
I do live more towards the north, but also more in the Western part.

I need new shoes as well. I am also very lazy when I have to change things. Instead of buying a new pair of socks I learned how to fix them with sewing lol.

I actually started wearing 'new' shoes this week =O
new is in brackets because I've had them in the box for like 10 months or so, but I didn't start actually wearing them till this week =P
My previous ones were just too worn down and getting painful to walk in.

As my shoes tend to be worn out in at most a year I usually buy more than 1 pair when it feels like my last pair is going to give out soon =P

We had snow three or four times already, but it melted after a few days every time. Currently it's rain-snowing (it's snowing but it doesn't hold).

One more week and then I'll be on 6 day workweeks till early January... December is always such fun when it comes to work >.>
Can't really complain too much though. I make good money in December that has me set for months =P
gottta earn back those christmas presents somewhere =P

I only have the two days off on which Christmas itself falls. No two weeks off for Christmas and New Year as I had back when I was still in school.

Looks like it falls on Monday-Tuesday this year, so I basically got a 3 day weekend with Sunday added. I'll still be working the rest of the week.
New Year's is on a Monday too =O
Well I guess that's 2 less Mondays for me to work during this period then rofl.
