Don't get me wrong, it is fun, but it is just a lot of work. In my University, it is one of the highest course in regards to work that needs to be produced! ><;

Just go with what you love or really would enjoy! Best advice I can give you.

I have a year till I'll really make up my mind, it's sorta short but long but I'll have a while to decide. XD

I want to study outside NZ that's why I'm going to Australia and USA this year- Very Excited!

It isn't easy. Let me tell you that. Never think any course like this is going to be easy or a walk in the park. A lot of people through that in my first year of the course and nearly all of them who had that train of through failed or dropped out.

Ahhh, a photography lover. Well you should head over to Graphics & Photography on this forum then; would love to see some of your work.
I have my own gallery here:

yes i've seen your gallery :P you seem to be a fan of architecture.
my gallery is in my signature, it's been in the section for a couple of days but it seems graphics & photography has died over the months.
(i had an old account on pc)

Has anybody else here played any of the Metroid games?

Has anybody else here played any of the Metroid games?

No, although I do own "Other M", I just don't seem to have time for it. /badexcuse.

Edit; That being said, I do too own some of the Gamecube games, although my father plays them really.

I doubt Metroid has ever been big around here (or did I just miss it?), so I've never even seen it being played.
I roughly (very roughly, close to not at all) know what its about, and that's it.

Played Metroid Prime when it came out on GameCube but couldn't get past the first boss. Not really my finest hour, but at least I didn't get someone across the street to complete the rest of the game for me like I did for Ocarina of Time. Oops... shouldn't have said that! -_-

The most I know of Samus Aran and co. is from Super Smash Brothers, which is to say I know she shoots laser thingies out of her arm cannon thingy. Yeah: I know my vocabulary!

^Same I never really played Metroid Games. Not Tales of Symphonia either but my friend is obsessed with them XD. I was and still is a Sonic the Hedgehog child.

I was raised on PC games, Pokemon, and sports games, so I didn't get much exposure to other genres until I tried exposing myself to those other genres. I was a champ at the first NBA Jam game for the Sega Genesis/Super Nintendo, though I got that good by cheating when playing by myself and controlling both teams. ^_^;; When I did play other kids, I schooled them with one of the weakest teams in that game, the Minnesota Timberwolves. ^_^

I was raised up as a Mario girl, although ironically the first game I ever played was Animal Crossing: Population- Growing, so I'm obviously excited for when the newest game is released on 3DS! :3

When I was a baby, my dad used to sit me up on a chair and play Mario while I watched since I couldn't sleep, and I would just silently sit there and stare for hours. When I got a bit older my sister and I used to watching him play LoZ:OoT and FFVII (naming all the characters after his family). I can't remember the first one I actually played but we definitely grew up on games, haha.

Mario, Pokemon, Starfox, Donkey Kong and Syphon Filter were some of the games I grew up with. There were others, but I stuck with those instead.

I grew up with games, my dad has definitely left the gaming influence on me; I just love playing videogames. Although, I do hope I get that 3DS on my birthday, or I'll kill a kitte- Oh, um... I'll be very upset.

I've never been a fan of Zelda, having said that I've never tried it, but I grew up playing the likes of Mario & Pokémon for the Nintendo consoles and Crash Bandicoot and Spyro for the Sony Console any many others, but my main game throughout has infact been Pokémon.
