As far as the make up of this topic, its seems like it changes every topic tbh. I remember people from the last topic that I don't see any more and people from this topic that I never saw post in the last one. Same thing will hold try going forward.
 
I remember being a total noob when I first joined. And I was just 19. I guess I took the time to get used to a large community.

Seems to be the case with a lot of the mods as well? Speaking of next week Hangover 2 is coming out! Looks good from the promos, even though I thought the first way was way over hyped. It was good, but a lot made it out to be the best movie ever.
 
Yeah, I notice a lot of mods involuntarily double-posting, but in my case it was just that my internet crapped out when I was sending the post. It told me it hadn't gone through and needed to be re-sent, so I did that as soon as my net came back, but apparently the first one went through after all.
 
At least you guys have fancy features like auto-merging of double posts and time limits between posts that clean up most of the mess before it happens! I can't tell you how many double posts I had to manually delete on my moderation rounds years ago XP

Yeah, that's usually just server blips. :/

I can't imagine having to delete them all manually, though.
 
I don't know how the MCP works here but can't you just select the Mod CP box then it displays the options along with a number of boxs that allow you to select the posts you wish to moderate then you select all the consecutive posts and delete them all at once. That would seem the easiest way to go. Or just give the user a verbal warning, if I had to do it all manually. Which would be a pain if you got a report of a person doing it like over 5 times in a row on multiple topics.
 
I just noticed we have a Battle Wiki with little to no content to it. Has that been there for long or am I just slow in noticing it?
 
53 minutes to the Rapture here, folks. I told you I'd keep you updated! So far, I've noticed no tremors, sudden increases in temperature, acid rain or any other warning signs. I'll let you know what happens come 6pm.
 
Well the rapture is cancelled, cause Kiribati hasn't been affected, which experience it first ^____^
 
You know the drill, when they say the world ends they just say "oops we got the date wrong, it's actually _____(date inserted here)_______. Though I do enjoy hearing the reasons for each time the world will end.
 
Maybe the Rapture has come in Kiribati and we just don't know about it because everybody's gone? Maybe the Rapture exerts some kind of mystical force that prevents anybody from finding out about it until it hits?
