what about the other 7%?

This might be the first time I have a theme with my signature and avatar on this website.

One of the kids in my class had a pikachu pen so I mentioned about it when I saw it and all of them were so shocked I knew of pikachu. Then I proceeded to tell them I love Pokémon. I don't know what shocked them more; the thought of me knowing and liking Pokémon or having interests/a life out of class in general haha.

Why have a complete theme when you can halve it and enjoy the sight of two characters you love at once? Symmetry and balance is overrated. Askew is where it's at.

And now it's time for me to read Peter and Wendy because I am a stunted soul and will never grow up.

that's so cool!! i kinda wish i knew more pokemon fans irl tbh

... although even then I'd be too shy to talk to them because I'm a closeted pokemon fan and don't even talk much about it unless i see someone with like... a pokemon shirt or something.

Maybe it's just me but I haven't really encountered any "Pokémon is for little kids" culture in over 10 years. I think most people are aware it has a strong adult following for it to not be a shock to tell someone. Here in China I honestly have no idea of its popularity level. But since they added Chinese traditional and simplified to the game's languages I guess it must have some sort of a following. I just mainly see a lot of pikachu haha. Actually a boy in another one of my classes has been wearing the same pikachu jumper every class since the weather became cold.

Was extremely surprised to learn that some people keep their liking of Pokémon under wraps. How can something so cool and innocuous be a source of shame? It's not like it's watching the original My Little Pony and Rainbow Brite in your late forties or something. Which is still okay, provided the motives aren't in the least bit creepy.

But I dripped lemon juice into my eye as a dare and it fucking hurt in an amazing, brilliant, beautiful way. I recommend it, but as a one-try thing because too much can apparently dissolve your cornea.
