A competition to determine the best Mega Pokemon around

What is this all about?

Hello, and welcome to the Penultimate (Fourth) Round! Here in this competition, all of the Mega Pokemon battle it out to see who's the best one! ... Or should I say, you, as the voter, pick who's the best one? This is the final round before the final round in which the 8 winners that are chosen from the first four rounds duke it out! Who will the last two of the 8 be? You decide!

How this works

So! There's going to be four separate rounds, each with 12 different Mega-Evolved Pokemon. Because of the sheer number of Mega Pokemon, only the top two winners from each round will advance. The Final Round, therefore, will consist of the final 8 winners to battle it out to see who the best Mega Evolution is of them all.

by the way, to clear up any confusion beforehand -- yes, that is mega latias/latios and we've decided to count them separately rather than together since they can fulfill different roles in battle.

I'm genuinely surprised that I liked more Pokemon this round than in most previous rounds, it seems.

My votes this time around went to Mega Altaria, Lopunny, Rayquaza, and Audino. A little sad that Audino was the sole Mega Evolution for Unova- I think they could've had some cool Megas if they'd given them a shot.

So... this one was a bit tricky to do, since there are some ties, here. Rather than trying to complicate this, I've decided to combine Mega Lopunny, Mega Metagross, and Mega Rayquaza into the first slot and Mega Altara as the #2 winner to keep things as fair as possible. The most ideal way would probably just be to stick with the first three, but I figure it wouldn't matter a whole lot and we'll see if Mega Altaria makes it in the final round, anyway.
