The Name Rater

6/10 Though is a good title!

I've named my Rhyhorn in Yellow Pinky cuz there were the pink Rhyhorn in the anime and after Pinky in Pinky and the Brain cuz he was stupid and Rhyhorn have tiny brains!

9/10
Coincidence?

How about my Regigigas? Its name is Reggie Fils-Aime. Also look at my theme now!

Quite clever, only I can't see the similarities. xD 8/10

I called my Volcarona Twilight, because Twilit Bloat didn't sound very nice and that's what Volcarona reminds me of... even if Volcarona is a lot more pleasant-looking than this thing:

Hmm I don't associate twilight with Volcarona. 4/10

My first Azurill was named Zuzu. Cute, no?

7/10 Zuzu is quite a silly yet adorable name.

I named my Hydreigon Capone, after the famous outlaw Al Capone. His nickname is Scarface, and Deino is covered in wounds around its body. Eh?

9/10
Yeeah that is pretty clever.

Rate the nickname I gave to my first ever pokémon in a mainseries game!
WATERSTEEL my trust Empoleon!

7/10 Pingu would've been nice, but OK.

What about my Terrakion? I named it Leonidas. Y'all know who this guy is, right?

Nice reference. Very subtle and a good fit. 8.5/10

How is Skaia for a Skarmory's name?

8/10 It's strange but works.

How about an Ampharos named Cleopatra? Honestly I thought Ampharos was derived from Pharaoh.

The "pharos" in Ampharos does sound a little like "pharaoh" and it is associated with light and all. Cleopatra does make me visualize gold, royalty and all. I'll rate it a nice 7; it is unique.

How about Medea for Braixen?

As in the enchantress from Greek mythology? I don't know a whole lot on that subject, but the name sounds nice enough! 8/10. c:

I always nickname my Kyogre Leviathan, mostly after the giant whale from Dragon Quest IX!

9/10.
Minus one for the fact that it's a dolphin (orcas are dolphins), but it's a perfect fit. Almost.

I named a Magnezone THE POLICE. Remember Pokémon Mystery Dungeon?

^ Of course! EoS is one of my favourite games! It also makes me think of the rock band. Though seeing as how I typically don't like caps in a nickname, I'll give it... 8.5/10 (for the PMD reference)!

When I eventually get a Purrloin, I plan to call her Tsarmina, after the conniving cat from the Redwall book series (since that's who Purrloin reminds me of to a T)!

Spoiler:

K. 8/10

I named a Lucario Da Human. He was my protagonist in PMDS. Also it looks human.

7/10 Quite bizzare.

I gave my Cobalion the name Wallace, after William Wallace, a national hero of Scotland, because I like to portray Cobalion with a Scottish accent.

Name doesn't sound Scottish to me but I think it's a fit for Cobalion. 6/10

I once had a Buneary known as Velvet. Why Velvet? The Velveteen Rabbit of course.
