Well if syndrome was right earlier, then it would be bad if I were to throw the potion - and then have Golgari Protected. I Think it's safe to say you should still shoot Golgari.

I will if you guys want me too, but I want to put that out there before I commit.

Please throw the potion. We don't know what it might do. It might kill him, it might role reveal him...just because mine protected me doesn't mean yours will do the same. Who knows, but there's no point in holding it. So unless you want Johnny to shoot you, I suggest that you throw it before he sends in the action.

CHRISTMAS EVE​

MRS. CLAUS watched as the TINKERING ELF shot his candy cane harpoon...into himself. It was one of the last tricks left and luckily his vest protected him from death.

SUGARPLUM MARY threw her potion at GOLGARI, but it was too late. Christmas Eve was here and Christmas Town had survived. But SANTA had not. Who would deliver the gifts now? No RUDOLF, no SANTA, not even KRAMPUS could belay the inevitable.

Christmas...was ruined.

How could they deliver all the gifts with so many lost elves and no leader?

"We'll have to try, at the very least," said MRS. CLAUS.

The last remaining elves, BOBANDBILL, GOLGARI, and BLUEREDEMPTION loaded up Santa's Sleigh as MRS. CLAUS entered the driver's seat. There was only one beast to lead the sleigh this night and SPARKY barked happily in front of the reindeer, a small lightbulb tied to his nose.

JAMES watched from his porch, happily sipping pumpkin spiced tea.

Even the PENGUIN waddled past, content with having not died, though none dared look him in the eye for killing SANTA. It was his fault after all.

As they finished the final preparations, the LOUD ELF jumped from the bushes.

"I DIDN'T WANT TO JOIN THIS AWFUL CREW, YOU KNOW!" she shouted.

Boy was she loud. DAVEPETASPRITE^2 fell to her knees.

"I WAS A GOOD ELF. THE BEST ELF, MAYBE. AND NOW LOOK AT ME..."

MRS. CLAUS stepped down from the sleigh and put a hand on the henchman-elf.

"In times like these, we must all learn to forgive."

"THANK YOU. I WILL TRY MY BEST TO PROVE I AM A GOOD ELF."

"No, no. You misunderstand."

MRS. CLAUS raised her cane and revealed a blade from the bottom of it, piercing the traitorous elf in the heart.

"We must learn to forgive...but I suppose I need a refresher."

MRS. CLAUS walked away from the last resident of Halloween Town. Christmas was saved as best as it could be and they'd learn to survive, these final few.

And so our story ends here, on the Eve of Christmas.
No SANTA, no JACK,
Only piles of blood and many salty tears
Goodnight to all victims, enjoy your new fears.
