Is there a mechanic I'm unfamiliar with? Why would Boxtroll not be allowed to speak? They'll have to cast a vote today - everyone does.

Also this mafia is starting off very predictably. Looks like the santa's up to your tricks. :^)

i think it's better to have the Protective Elf go for Syn, so that Santa can visit someone else and learn their alignment. this game doesn't work like EpicMafia; Santa only visits one person to learn their alignment and bestow a gift upon them at the same time.

also i was just wondering - now that the Caroler has been converted, will their song still have the same effect? i assume so, yeah?
and we have a couple secret roles... the Corpse Bride is obviously a lover, but what about Sparky? from the 'new best friend' thing i'd say it sounds similar, but maybe it's more one-sided? i haven't seen the movie myself, so i don't know any of the characters mentioned - i may need to change that in the upcoming days.

@marz, Boxtroll wouldn't be allowed to speak because he was trapped by SHOCK.

A common ability in Mafia is the one to silence another player. The silenced player can't talk during the day phase. They can send their vote in through PM to Klippy and Mana.
 
Oh I see. I guess the narrative doesn't explicitly say "so and so has been silenced," but we can assume that's what's happening based on the actions described.

Interesting, I have never encountered that rule when playing. Anyway, as stated it's hard to vote on who's mafia. I think waiting a little more might help us.

Umm that's not how it works? Shock trapped the box troll and visited the caroler that was converted. But the caroler should still be able to speak. Unless I misread something. Which is entirely possible.
