True. I kept my starter Oshawott throughout the main story of Legends Arceus. It was mainly Hisuian Lilligant and Gardevoir I used in battles however.

Nope! As I explained in the dedicated thread for that question, it was always Ghost. My second favourite type did change though, and now it's Electric.
